Tess Stephenson 2027 5’8 Memorial MS (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Tess is an incredibly aware and lanky wing/ combo guard prospect with her ability to create opportunities for her teammates, but also attack the defense from all three levels of the floor. I was very impressed with how well she created with her heads up passes both in the full court and the half court. She sees the floor at an incredibly high level, which is a great testament to her basketball IQ. You can tell she is getting coached by a true point guard with her pinpoint passes that found her teammates in stride in the open court. Her shot making ability also stood out, constantly getting to her spots in the midrange off the bounce. She consistently got into the paint and made the right kick-out passes as well. She calmly knocked down shots from the three point line when given enough time to set her feet. She has all the tools to develop into a high level prospect, regardless of the position she chooses to pursue as well.
Sydney Marshall 2027 5’10 Kinkaid High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Sydney is an athletic forward who really stood out during her time on the court through her ability to rebound the ball and make plays on the defensive side of the court. She is a very skilled trapper who is good at making her opponent uncomfortable. She not only reads the defense and plays in the passing lanes but truly reads ball handlers and has a nose for where they want to go with the basketball. She is an elite defender for her age and I was very impressed with her ability to move her feet and protect the paint. Marshall is not just an aware player on defense, she routinely makes good decisions without the basketball through her constant motion that Just Play Elite runs. She always makes good off ball cuts to the rim, and pops out beyond the arc when necessary. She is not afraid of contact in the paint and can attack the defense with a live dribble. She looks like she has all the tools to develop into a highly skilled three and d wing.
Rylee Poindexter 2027 5’8 Duchense Academy, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Rylee is a consistent shooter from the outside who can not only shoot from a high level but also attack the basket and finish in the lane. She is a reliable shooter from the wings and corners and stays ready for a cross court passed to be whipped in her direction. Her ability to put pressure on the defense from the outside created wide driving lanes to the basket, in which she drove hard and made the referees call a foul through the contact she saw in the lane. She calmly knocked down free throw after free throw, which is a great indicator that she is developing the right way as a shooter, and not just jacking up shots from the perimeter. I would like to see her work on becoming a better one to two dribble pull up in the midrange, as she puts defenses on their heels the midrange will continue to open up more and more for her.
Alexandra Gordon 2027 6’0 Kinkaid High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2026 JT)
Alexandra is a skilled forward who knows how to use her frame to dominate in the paint. She constantly grabbed defensive rebounds and made elite outlet passes to find teammates in the full court streaking to the basket, or making the right pass and letting her lead guard walk the ball up the court. Also on the defensive side, she showed a great ability to move her feet and defend on the perimeter and contest shots. I was very impressed by her ability to do it all on the defensive end of the floor including protecting the paint and collecting rebounds. On the offensive side of the floor, she is good at using her size to dominate with her back to the basket and calmly finish after shifting her opponent out of the way to get a bunny hook shot off. She looks to have all the tools to develop into a high level and dynamic basketball player on both ends of the floor and I am excited to watch her develop.
