Kierra Bond Kierra Bond 5'7" | C Riverside | 2023 WI
I’m not sure what position Bond is most suitable to play, but she’s effective when she steps on the floor. She’s super active on the defensive end and was one of Wisconsin’s leading rebounders, including 20 rebounds against a talented Milwaukee Academy of Science team. After seeing her play for the first time, I can understand how she pulled down all the rebounds she did. She constantly earns extra possessions for her team and looks like she wants the ball more than anyone on the floor when a shot comes off the rim.
Teagan Schoenecker
Yet another talented 2026 wing in Wisconsin and future Oregon Panther, Teagan Schoenecker, showed well in Romeoville. She’s a 5-foot-9 wing with range. Schoenecker uses that length to block shots, rebound, and shoot over almost anyone who guards her on the perimeter. She may have an opportunity to impact the Panthers’ upcoming season early in her high school career.
Kate Arne Kate Arne 6'2" | C Stevenson | 2023 State IL
Usually, when you see a 6-foot-3 forward, they aren’t that skilled, mobile, or balanced. Kate Arne Kate Arne 6'2" | C Stevenson | 2023 State IL couldn’t be further from those descriptions. She showed she could hit jumpers from all over the floor and move like a wing. Arne blocked plenty of shots and didn’t get whistled for a foul very often, making teams abandon attacking the basket.
Hannah Ayala
Ayala did things you’d want a big to do. She set good screens, finished around the basket, and rebounded. Ayala showed a lot of skill around the basket and constantly made herself an outlet for her guards when they got pressured. I thought her game may not have been flashy, but she was good at helping her team succeed every time down the floor.
Lola Prendergast
The Oak Creek native did an excellent job taking what the defense gave her. She showed she could knock down shots from anywhere and score in the in-between area with a floater. Prendergast knows how to dissect her opposition using her vision and ability to change pace. Her scoring can break games wide open. Regardless of who’s playing against her, teams need to account for her, or they risk getting ripped apart. She should have a solid junior season with the Knights.
