Christina was on fire in the tournament. I think she proved to me she has scholarship level potential. She was a scoring machine. She lead her team to multiple 20 points comebacks. One game she had 36 points, with a monster second half. Next game she had 27 points in the second half. She was even was out for some of the first half after rolling her ankle. Pham is the Number 2 ranked player for the class of 2025 in New England by Prep Hoops. She is a player who thrives for the big moments. Her competitive nature is un matched. She looks very mentally tough on the court, and fights hard. She is picking up her teammates no matter what the situation is. In the tournament she shot the three very well, and was able to score in multiple ways. She hit step back threes, pull up jumpers, and finished at the rim. Highlights
Samantha had a breakthrough performance, and helped lead the Honey Badgers 2025 team to the tournament championship. I was able to see Samantha play multiple times throughout the tournament. I really liked the energy and passion she played with. Samantha is a crafty and skilled guard. I also liked how she catches the ball in triple threat position, and protects the ball. This gives her more options of plays to make off the catch. Samantha had some nice finishes in transition and in the half court, and some nice passes as well. One transition layup was through contact from a long pass off a rebound from a teammate. She also shot the three well, and was a threat from the outside. She had a crafty up and under finish at the rim. She made big plays all tournament, and fought hard. She is very aggressive on the rebounds especially for a guard. On defense she was active, and put tough pressure on the opposing team’s, in the Honey Badgers full court press. Samantha raised her stock after this tournaments breakout performance.
