Under-The-Radar 2023 Wings

These ladies really were turning heads every time they were in the gym! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Rebecca Kelley </strong>2023 5'8 Homeschool ([program_tooltip program_id='715647' first='Hoop' last='Lovers'] 2023)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rebecca is a patient player who sees the floor well and always seems to make the right reads and extra passes to set up her teammates well within the half court. I was very impressed by her ability to play alongside another player who wanted to live in the paint, and the willingness she had to play outside in when on the court at the same time as her. She can operate with a live dribble or out of the triple threat on the elbows and make the right pass. She has a great two man game with her other big man, Kelley is good at waiting for her to seal off her opponent before passing the ball into the post and allowing her to work.I was very impressed with the ease in which she scored from the mid-range off the bounce. She is calm with a live dribble and always seems to make the right basketball play every time down the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Sofia Budnik </strong>2023 5'10 Cinco Ranch High School ([program_tooltip program_id='713185' first='Texas' last='Cagers Select'] White)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sofia is a sharp shooting do it all player who thrives at shooting off the bounce and the catch, all while calmly initiating offense. She is a high level wing/ forward with a deadly ability to create space with a live dribble. Her ability to dictate the pace and create looks for her teammates is incredibly impressive, and she is very aware at her ability to create shot attempts if her passes are on the money and on time. She and her counter part Madison (Lee- 2023 Cinco Ranch HS) are high level scorers from the perimeter and are real weapons on the outside. The two of them will be putting pressure on defenses for the next few years at Cinco Ranch High School!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Racie Decker </strong>2023 5'9 Seymour High School ([program_tooltip program_id='713388' first='West' last='Texas Shockers'])</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Racie is a dynamic wing who can put the ball on the floor and get into the teeth of the defense or stop on a dime and score from the perimeter. I was very impressed with her ability to calmly score in the lane and even spot up and score beyond the arc. She has a natural feel to avoid contact as she is getting downhill and towards the rim. She is good at using her awareness to manipulate the defense with euro-steps and other skilled finishes. She is an aware passer, especially as she draws a second defender through her constant attack of the rim. She is not just a slasher and distributor, she is great at scoring from the midrange and beyond the arc off the dribble. She plays with real on court awareness through her ability to manipulate the defenses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>La'Terra Satcher</strong> 2023 [program_tooltip program_id='715146' first='SETX' last='Elite'] Blue (Westbrook High School)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>La'Terra is an aware wing who thrives in her ability to move off the ball and create easy looks for herself by sealing off her defender in the lane. She is great at flashing from block to block as the ball is swung out on the perimeter and quickly turning and putting her opponent on her back to free herself at the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
