Breshay Holley
Breshay Holley
Holley was a Detroit Free Press All-Area Honorable Mention last season. She’s a talented forward that can guard a couple of different spots. Holley was a consistent piece of a Denby team that made a little noise late in the season. She could really take off her senior year.
#4
Aniya Owens
Aniya Owens
Owens left her mark last season and showed that even greater things could like ahead. Owens could make a big impact on both ends. The creative scorer is more than ready to lead her team offensively and average over double digits. She already averaged just over 5 steals a game last season so she could be a feared force on the defensive end.
#3
Pharr could really step up, especially with her influence on the defensive end. She moves well and gets herself into good defensive position with her solid footwork. Pharr does a nice job of playing vertically and anticipates the shot in the post well.
#2
Sky is the limit might not be enough when describing Tracy Thomas Tracy Thomas 6’0″ | SF Detroit Cass Tech | 2025 State MI . She’s very athletic with length that really aids her on the defensive end. Thomas could end up the next season as the most versatile player in Detroit. She can play either forward spot well and creates an instant matchup issue for opponents.

Mount is one of the most exciting young post players in Detroit, and probably the state of Michigan as a whole. Really she broke out last season, showing the ability to change and dominate a game from the lane. Mount is finally starting to receive the recognition that she has deserved. In my opinion, at the end of next season, she will be known well around the state.
