There were so many talented freshmen who performed up to and beyond expectations this summer. That makes it extremely difficult to pick just one Class of 2025 Prep Girls Hoops AAU Most Valuable Player. There's [player_tooltip player_id='296523' first='Kendall' last='McGee'], the uber-athletic, acrobatic guard from Minnesota Stars Borowicz, who is always in the running for the spotlight. Or the long and lean and graceful [player_tooltip player_id='252387' first='Aaliyah' last='Crump'], who distinguished herself playing one year up on the EYBL circuit for North Tartan. Perhaps [player_tooltip player_id='205298' first='Jordan' last='Ode'] is the right pick. The Minnesota Fury UAA stalwart has the biggest motor in the Class of 2025 and does it all for her team. Or maybe [player_tooltip player_id='262910' first='Tori' last='Schlagel'] is more your cup of tea, the versatile workhorse whose all-around excellence defies categorization. All of them would be nice choices, which is why they have been selected for the 2025 AAU All Star first team.

Our MVP choice, however, is point guard extraordinaire [player_tooltip player_id='252379' first='Addison' last='Mack'] of Minnesota Fury UAA. The Minnehaha Academy floor leader was consistently excellent on a very, very good team. The top Fury freshman squad is loaded, of course, from the aforementioned Ode to [player_tooltip player_id='258599' first='Keagan' last='McVicker'], [player_tooltip player_id='208184' first='Zahara' last='Bishop'], [player_tooltip player_id='208185' first='Liana' last='Buckhalton'], [player_tooltip player_id='252480' first='Rae' last='Ehrman'], [player_tooltip player_id='346166' first='Autumn' last='McCall'] and the list goes on. But nobody impacts the squad's success more than Mack. We have watched her for over three years now. During that period of time her game has evolved substantially. And now that Addi has grown taller, filled out and gotten stronger, the possibilities are endless for the cerebral guard with the elite skill set, exceptional feel for the game and warrior mentality. Yes, there were lots of top performers to choose from but in our view it was Mack who stood just a little taller than the others.

Here are the 25 players who distinguished themselves well enough to earn AAU All Star Selection:

FIRST TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='252387' first='Aaliyah' last='Crump'] – wing, North Tartan 2024 EYBL (Minnetonka)

[player_tooltip player_id='252379' first='Addison' last='Mack'] – guard, Minnesota Fury 2025 UAA (Minnehaha Academy)

[player_tooltip player_id='296523' first='Kendall' last='McGee'] – guard, Minnesota Stars Borowicz (Benilde-St. Margaret's)

[player_tooltip player_id='205298' first='Jordan' last='Ode'] – guard, Minnesota Fury 2025 UAA (Maple Grove)

[player_tooltip player_id='262910' first='Tori' last='Schlagel'] – guard, North Tartan 2025 Nike (Eden Prairie)

SECOND TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='296515' first='Hope' last='Counts'] – forward, Metro Stars 2025 (Providence Academy)

[player_tooltip player_id='330743' first='Abby' last='Hoselton'] – forward, North Tartan Nike (St. Michael-Albertville)

[player_tooltip player_id='346166' first='Autumn' last='McCall'] – forward, Minnesota Fury 2025 UAA (Centennial)

[player_tooltip player_id='296527' first='Aneisha' last='Scott'] – guard, The City Black (DeLaSalle)

[player_tooltip player_id='296528' first='Sam' last='Wills'] – forward, Minnesota Stars Borowicz (Visitation)

THIRD TEAM

[player_tooltip player_id='346182' first='Elayna' last='Boe'] – guard, Crossfire Mueller (Lakeville North)

[player_tooltip player_id='296747' first='Anna' last='Greene'] – forward, Crossfire Tussler (Mahtomedi)

[player_tooltip player_id='396428' first='Allie' last='Haabala'] – guard, West Central United (Alexandria)

[player_tooltip player_id='212489' first='Sophie' last='Hawkinson'] – guard, North Tartan Nike (Wayzata)

[player_tooltip player_id='396422' first='Tory' last='Jennissen'] – forward, West Central United (Sauk Centre)

HONORABLE MENTION

[player_tooltip player_id='453728' first='Ajiem' last='Agwa'] – guard, Air Minnesota (Austin)

[player_tooltip player_id='208184' first='Zahara' last='Bishop'] – guard, Minnesota Fury 2025 UAA (Benilde-St. Margaret's)

[player_tooltip player_id='396431' first='Gabby' last='Fineday'] – guard, Starks Elite (Cass Lake-Bena)

[player_tooltip player_id='215457' first='London' last='Harris'] – guard, The City Black (Hopkins)

[player_tooltip player_id='337630' first='Brooklynn' last='Holmberg'] – forward, Metro Stars 2025 (Prior Lake)

[player_tooltip player_id='296516' first='Regan' last='Juenemann'] – guard, Starks Elite (Duluth Marshall)

[player_tooltip player_id='346160' first='Ella' last='Keenan'] – forward, Minnesota Stars Borowicz (Chaska)

[player_tooltip player_id='307818' first='Mylea' last='Monahan'] – guard, North Tartan Nike (Glencoe-Silver Lake)

[player_tooltip player_id='453750' first='Addison' last='Post'] – guard, Minnesota Stars Post (White Bear Lake)

[player_tooltip player_id='208187' first='Annika' last='Southworth'] – guard, Minnesota Rise Hulke (St. Peter)
