Additional Noteworthy NM Players at the Mountain Madness

Here are additional notable players from New Mexico, that participated at the Mountain Madness tournament. The USJN: Mountain Madness was a three day event (7/24-7/25) held in Denver, Colorado that featured over 100+ AAU teams with 45(!) Collegiate programs in attendance, representing each level - D1, D2, D3, JUCO, NAIA.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - Clippers 17   #3 [player_tooltip player_id="353953" first="Aaliyah" last="Nevarez"] - 5'10” Wing (2023) Highland HS   Aaliyah is a 3pt specialist with a long, athletic frame that can find the bottom of the net, in a variety of ways. She is deadly in catch & shoot situations but will also pull up off the dribble well behind the arc.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - Las Cruces Premier    #23 [player_tooltip player_id="353927" first="Emma" last="Christiano"] - 5'5” Point Guard (2023) Las Cruces HS   Emma is a lightning quick guard that excels in the open court and likes to get to the rim. She has a nice handle allowing her to breakdown opposing defenders on the perimeter and slip in to the paint where she is not afraid to to go up against the “trees”.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - Flash 17   #25 Daci Smith - 5'5” Guard (2023) Roswell HS   Daci is a quick, sound guard that moves well without the ball and has the ability to score from multiple spots. Smith has a nice jumper, allowing her to space the floor and be a viable option for her team in the half-court.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - Clippers 17   #12 Sierra Dixson - 5'9” Guard/Wing (2023) Manzano HS   Sierra is a high motor wing player  that competes on both ends of the floor. Dixson has good athleticism, making her a capable multi-position player who can score, rebound and defend.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - Clippers 17   #4 Storm Nguyen - 5'3” Point Guard (2023) Volcano Vista HS   Storm Nguyen is a quick floor general that makes it easier for teammates in different ways; Storm plays hard, takes care of the ball and constantly communicates with her teammates on matchups, coverages and plays.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>   NM - NM Select    #30 [player_tooltip player_id="353940" first="Zoe" last="Brown"] - 5'10” Wing/Forward (2023) Valencia HS   [player_tooltip player_id="353940" first="Zoe" last="Brown"] is an athletic wing with great upside who has the ability to play multiple positions. Brown can operate as a small ball 5 or a stretch 4 and with an improved jump shot, she could operate at the small forward position.
