Continue ReadingI was so excited to see some of the players I had already picked for the upcoming 2026 Watchlist for Texas. Yet, I got a bonus because I saw players I knew little or nothing about who will be among the Texas Top 100 before it’s all said and done, I’m that good and I haven’t been wrong yet, that speaks for itself. I’m going to break this event down into several articles because this was one of those Individual showcases where I try and get as much about every player who is there, which is one of the main reasons I use this hashtag, #ThereIsNoMe so here are the Top 5
Madison Crawford Madison Crawford 5'6" | PG Mansfield Legacy | 2026 State TX – 5’6 CG (Mansfield Legacy) Pro Skills OG
Crawford set it off immediately with her array of shooting from everywhere. The long ball was dropping effortlessly, and so was the ” stop and pop” in transition yet she also attacked from multiple angles and scored using body control on many of her acrobatic finishes, yes this includes after contact. I also enjoyed her court vision and making hard passes look easy. Before the game I told her “your initials are MC, drop the mic” and she certainly did that
Kinley Lewis Kinley Lewis 5'11" | SF Denton Ryan | 2026 State TX -5’11 SF (Denison HS) Lady Jets 16U
Lewis grabbed my eye with a team on the circuit and her sheer athleticism alone left me speechless. Her performance at the Showcase is why I say over and over, “place yourself in front of knowledgeable evaluators in different settings” and as good as she was initially, her ceiling has no roof. She blocked countless shots, her UPS and timing are ahead of her years and her first step left defenders cemented but her pull-up jumper had me SMH, and so did her rebounding and going coast to coast to finish and (or) dish
Salena Carrasco Salena Carrasco 5'7" | PG Boswell | 2026 State TX – 5’8 PG (Boswell) DFW Elite 16U EYBL
Carrasco was teased by me early because of her initials and after watching her 3 or 4 years ago, I knew what was coming. Poised under pressure even back then was one of her strong points yet watching her “think the game” has been a pleasure as well. She creates her shot her shot effortlessly, she scores from both mid and long-range but her array of moves including the HEZ kept defenders off balance. Her floater to win a game speaks volumes about her “wanting it in the clutch”
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX – 5’5 SG (Hays) Stat Elite
Stigall has been a major plus for me all club season as I have caught her in various settings including her drop over 40 against a team filled with players heading to college, when you send me stats I file them in the “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” folder yet she JUST DOES IT against whoever she is going against. This speaks volumes about both her game as well as her mindset and her ability to get wherever she wants to drop the jumper or finish strongly after contact …
Jamari Milton Jamari Milton 5'4" | PG North Crowley | 2026 State TX -5’4 PG (North Crowley) DFW Elite 16U EYBL
Milton Bradley has been a leading toymaker forever yet don’t play with Jamari as she’s strictly business. She’s also one of the most intense players, baseline to baseline, I have seen in a long time. Her desire to defend “on the ball” has always grabbed me yet her explosiveness off the dribble coupled with finishing strongly after contact says a lot but she also can drop the jumper, mid to long-range with a hand in her face. Factor in she understands how to run a team and controlling the tempo will give her countless options
