Ferguson a left-handed guard has gathered plenty of interest over the past year from college coaches. Amiyah can get the ball down-hill in a hurry and find an open teammate.
Ferguson averaged 16.6 ppg, 8.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists this past season for the Wolves. Amiyah already has eclipsed over 1,100 career points in her high school career.
Peighton unfortunately wasn’t able to play in July due to an injury. Prep Girls Hoops last saw Jambor play in the Francis Marion University Team Camp. Jambor was just coming into her own with her play before going down with a knee injury.
Peighton is a player that college programs need to monitor and maybe take a strong chance on a player who will be back to play down the road.
Nettles received an offer from Charleston Southern University this past June. Alaina plays the game with a bit of a mean streak and competitive edge.
Alaina scores the ball from all 3 levels on the floor while averaging 18.1 ppg and 7.2 rebounds this past season for the Lady Cobras.
Highlights
Mack is a GAMER and hustler at all times on the floor. Zhaire works her tail off on both ends of the floor. She brings a constant effort to the floor at all times.
Zhaire will look to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor and always seems to find her in the mix of things. Mack is extremely VOCAL with her teammates and always seems to be in a positive mood. She averaged 10.9 ppg this past season.
Cook had a good summer with her high school team. Yasmine will dive into the bleachers, slash to the cup or just simply grab a loose ball when she is on the floor.
Yasmine provides senior leadership for the Lady Knights. She can finish with left-hand at the bucket when she isn’t scoring from the mid-range.
Rivers is back for the Iron Horses in Class 3A this season. Kennedy has seen varsity action since the 7th grade and will start her 6th season this coming year. Rivers averaged 17.2 ppg and 3.6 assists this past season for the Lady Iron Horses (16-4).
Kennedy has scored 1,196 career points entering her senior season.
Kellerman has been out with an injury since December 2021. Kylee averaged 19.2 ppg in a short season last year. She has scored 1,053 career points entering this coming season.
She didn’t play on the Grassroots Circuit this past Spring and Summer.
Highlights
Brown is very quick end to end with the ball in her hands. Kaleyia and teammate Yasmine Cook Yasmine Cook 5’8″ | SF Stratford | 2023 State SC will look to lead the Lady Knights this season.
Brown is a bit of a pest on the defensive end of the floor and really excels in the transition game.
Howard plays with her back to the basket for the Lady Chargers. Ryian was a welcome addition to the Lady Chargers after coming over from Cane Bay HS last season. She plays the game with a rugged side and toughness.
Thomas a small forward is that key cog to the Lady Cobras success this season. Lauren averaged 7 ppg and 8 rebounds last season.
