Some of the states top players regardless of class will be suiting up for different programs this season looking to make immediate impacts. Here we will highlight the top 5 impact transfers in the state.
Dakota Howard Dakota Howard 5'10" | SF Parkway | 2025 State LA – Parkway
Dakota comes over to an already talented Parkway ball club from Haughton high, where as a freshman she lead the Lady Buccaneers to the first round of the LHSAA Playoffs. As a freshman the ultra athletic Howard lead the team in points and rebounds while playing multiple positions on the floor. Arguably one of the top 2025s in the state look for Dakota to have an instant impact for the Lady Panthers if ruled eligible and possibly helping them to a state championship.
Terren Coffil Terren Coffil 5'8" | PG Chalmette | 2024 State LA – Chalmette
A Multiple time state champion while playing at John Curtis, Terren is one of the best lead guards in the state of Louisiana regardless of class. In the conversation for the top spot in the class of 2024 Coffil will bring a scoring punch to the Lady Owls that should push them past a first round playoff exit. A proven winner with a great handle and high basketball IQ that can knock down shots off the dribble or spotting up for three will be big for the Lady Owls!
Carley Hamilton Carley Hamilton 5'7" | PG Huntington | 2025 State LA – Huntington
Like the saying goes “The rich get richer” well that holds true for Huntington Hs. Inheriting the best pure point guard in the 2025 class from Captain Shreve Hs. Adding Carley who has an elite handle and a nice stroke from deep to an already loaded roster spells state championship for Huntington high. As a freshman Hamilton lead the Lady Gators in points and assist scoring in a variety of ways against some of the toughest teams in the state. Its always nice to add a power five caliber talent to a ball club.
Myan Barthelemy Myan Barthelemy 5'8" | CG Ponchatoula | 2023 State LA – Ponchatoula
Theirs no replacing state championship game MVP and Tulane signee Jaylee Womack for the Lady Wave, but with the addition of Loranger High transfer 2023 Myan Barthelemy Myan Barthelemy 5'8" | CG Ponchatoula | 2023 State LA it gives the Lady Waves a go to scorer. A big strong guard that can make plays for herself and others will keep the Lady Wave in tittle contention. One of the best uncommitted guards left in the 2023 class D2 and NAIA schools should be knocking her door down.
Bayleigh Matthews Bayleigh Matthews 5'6" | PG Northside | 2024 State LA – Northside
Probably the most under the radar move in the state, 2024 Bayleigh Matthews Bayleigh Matthews 5'6" | PG Northside | 2024 State LA will be taking her scoring talents from Comeaux High where she led the Lady Spartans in every statistical category possible to the Northside Lady Vikings. A three level scorer whos best off the bounce and getting to spots while elevating over defenders for jumpers will give the Lady Spartans the perimeter scoring threat needed to go along with 2023 post Alaysha Veal Alaysha Veal 6'1" | PF Northside | 2023 State LA .
