[player_tooltip player_id='95218' first='Brooke' last='Murrell']- Thomas Jefferson

[player_tooltip player_id='95218' first='Brooke' last='Murrell'] is the top player in the league and has been for the past couple of years. The Hawaii commit is a walking double-double whenever she hits the floor. As she goes into her senior year it won't be any different. Brooke has continued to improve her game every year, whether it's knocking down the mid-range shot consistently or defending guards on the wing. I expect a big season out of her.

[player_tooltip player_id='95224' first='Jaida' last='Redwine']- George Washington

Redwine is a guard and it is believed to be the toughest position in the Denver area. You're forced to score and defend every night and that puts [player_tooltip player_id='95224' first='Jaida' last='Redwine'] at the top of this list. For the last three years she has left her mark on this league and proved she can play with the best of them. As her senior season approaches, we're hoping to see Jaida put it all together and help George make a run at a state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='216701' first='Nevaeh' last='Millard'] - Denver South

[player_tooltip player_id='216701' first='Nevaeh' last='Millard'] is up next in the Denver area. She has the size and length to be a premier defender at multiple positions and can also score as well. Her 18.2 points a game was good for 3rd amongst DPS in scoring, and that was as a sophomore. Offensively Nevaeh is a 3-level scoring guard that reads and reacts well to defensive adjustments and is one of the best in the city.

[player_tooltip player_id='329381' first='Mya' last='Cotto']- George Washington

Last season, [player_tooltip player_id='329381' first='Mya' last='Cotto'] had a year that took some by surprise. She averaged a team high 16.6 points per game which ultimately led to a DPS League title. Cotto shot the ball extremely well while altering the opposing team's gameplan defensively. It'll be interesting to see if she is able carry that momentum into her senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='216733' first='Gianna' last='Whiteside']- George Washington

We don't see very many true post players in Denver, but [player_tooltip player_id='216733' first='Gianna' last='Whiteside'] has made the paint her home over the last two seasons. At 9 points and 6.9 rebounds a game her numbers don't jump out like some of the other girls on the list, but she also has one the most complete teams being at George Washington and managed to standout in her role.

[player_tooltip player_id='134319' first='Nevaeh' last='Golden']- Denver East

[player_tooltip player_id='134319' first='Nevaeh' last='Golden'] is a hard-nose defender that leaves it all on floor every game. I truly feel as if she is the best on-ball defender in Denver. While defense may be her strong suit, she also can fill up the stat sheet. Last year she carried the team with 15.8pts, 3.5ast, 5rebs and 4stls a game. Those number become even more impressive once you realize she's 5'6. She is a true competitor and one of the best in the city.

[player_tooltip player_id='145436' first='Tay' last='Williams']- Denver South

[player_tooltip player_id='145436' first='Tay' last='Williams'] may end up being a sleeper as she goes into her senior year. We really don't get to see her play summer ball, but she seems to have not missed a beat as far as being able to run a team once the season begins. With averages of 15.4pts, 2.5ast, 3.8rebs and 4.9 stls a game as a junior it's hard to see her not coming into the season with a chip on her shoulder.

[player_tooltip player_id='374091' first='Aliyah' last='Herron']- Northfield

Aliyah may seem a bit high on the list only being a sophomore and all, but she showed she could hold her own, even with being put into a tough spot as a freshman. Throughout the year Aliyah made her presence known on the offensive end of the floor by getting downhill and creating for ours. All while taking the challenge on defense by being aggressive and forcing opposing guard into tough shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='261774' first='Emma' last='Jo Locks']- George Washington

Every league has a few players that just get overlooked. They're usually the players that aren't too flashy but they do make the right plays time and time again. Well [player_tooltip player_id='261774' first='Emma' last='Jo Locks'] is that player! She has a well put together game that allows her to make a difference on both sides of the floor. Last season she averaged 8.3pts, 5.6rebs and 5stls a game while proving that she is the ultimate do-it-all type of player.

[player_tooltip player_id='263606' first='Dominique' last='Valdez']- Denver South

[player_tooltip player_id='263606' first='Dominique' last='Valdez'] is a well known name among DPS teams. She is a high scoring guard that has lit up teams over the past couple years with a career average of 20.8 points a game. She makes the transfer over to Denver South and they will need her to keep u that scoring barrage. The addition of Dominique makes the Ravens a dangerous team offensively, as they look to make noise this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='366411' first='Lapulou' last='Tongatua']- Regis Groff

[player_tooltip player_id='366411' first='Lapulou' last='Tongatua'] is another young player that is looking forward to having a breakout season this upcoming year. Last year the freshmen forward put the league on notice with averages of 13.6pts, 7.1rebs and 3.3stls a game. With teams coming into the season knowing what she can do it'll be interesting to see what adjustments Lapulou will make to her game to stay a consistent threat.

Keilani Venegas Alvarez- Kennedy

Keliani Alvareez is a sleeper that has the numbers to back up a claim at being a top player in the league. Her numbers speak for themselves at 13.4pts, 3.1ast, 6.3rebs, 2.8stls and 4.1blks a game. Her numbers proves she is willing to lay it all on the line for her team every game and those numbers translate no matter the competition.
