Four to Soar: Bellevue West

She has a strong ability to get to any spot on the floor she wants and can finish through contact when attacking the rim. Defensively, Melcher uses her size, strength and footwork to stay in front of defenders and rarely allows an easy shot attempt. She is active on both sides of the ball and will have no problem creating high percentage opportunities for her teammates or taking advantage of some open looks for herself. White is a scrappy combo guard who will bring that extra layer of toughness and ability to put the ball in the hoop that will have the T-Birds threatening for a state title.
