I have a saying, well hold on, I have several sayings I have compiled over the countless years I've been evaluating talented players, I'm still old school and I always keep it real. The MAGIC NUMBER is 6'0 because I'm always getting calls from college coaches about players who are at least that, or taller, even after the school season has started so the main thing is what INTANGIBLES you bring along with the height and (or) size and here were some of the players that stood out in this category

Bain grabbed my attention a few months ago when I traveled to Oklahoma yet she had both of my eyes wide open on the PGH Circuit. Now, she has definitely sold me, not because of her overpowering players in the paint and finishing with players literally hanging on her body, that's just part of it. She's creating her shot, under pressure to attack from the wing and just for fun, she dropping the mid to long-range

[player_tooltip player_id='486438' first='Jaslene' last='Big Crow']-6'0 C (V Sue Cleveland) Fenton Fundamentals

Big Crow did a whole lot of stuff to get the #THRO[program_tooltip program_id='715726' first='WBA' last='']CK hashtag. First of all, I enjoyed watching her "hands and footwork" around the basket. She's mobile and showed she could score with either hand around the basket. She also did a good job rebounding, on both ends and scoring off of putbacks. Her interior defense was nice, she even stepped out of the paint to defend

[player_tooltip player_id='486412' first='Julieta' last='Diaz']-6'2 C (Westmoore) [program_tooltip program_id='713003' first='Unity' last='Basketball']

Diaz went after the ball off the rim, that's always a good sign, and she did it on both ends of the court. She understands how to get the outlet going, she runs the floor and she also uses her body well, to either box out or seals the defender so she can score. She finished numerous times after the lick and even showed she could face the basket and score. Nice upside

[player_tooltip player_id='486444' first='Amaya' last='Mcdonald']-6'0 C (Braswell) [program_tooltip program_id='715690' first='DC' last='Queens'] 2026/27

McDonald was solid during the first session yet as the games progressed, she took it to another level. Scary upside because of the number of things she has going on, like "long and athletic" and I call that the base. I loved her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots as well as her taking the defender off the dribble. She rebounded strongly on both ends, scored with either hand around the basket, and played the passing lane

[player_tooltip player_id='486413' first='Chanel' last='Shuler']-6'3 C (Prestonwood) [program_tooltip program_id='712967' first='Texas' last='U']

Schuler continues to amaze me, not just because I'm looking up to her even more, she grew since I saw her a few weeks ago, but her game continues to grow as I've given her the nickname, Punisher. She did a good job rebounding on both ends and scoring around the basket but her lateral movement on defense has improved tremendously, and so has her doing things instinctively. Her height, her frame, and her potential will definitely be a draw for the next level
