She is an ELITE on-ball defender and takes pride in shutting down opposing teams best players. Her lateral quickness allows her to stay in front of anyone, while her fast hands make her a nightmare to go up against. Offensively, she is as exciting as it comes. Her quickness allows her to explode past her defenders and finish with ease at the rim. She can shoot it from 3, distribute to teammates and take over a game on the flip of a switch. Ijiwoye holds scholarship offers from what seems like nearly every school in the nation. Some of the top schools include: Marquette, USC, Clemson, Harvard, GCU, California-Berkeley, Vanderbilt, Utah, Villanova, Boston College, Michigan, Princeton and UCF. This list will continue to grow as Ijiwoye climbs the list as best 2024 prospects in the nation.
2) 2024 5’10 G Dominique Nesland Dominique Nesland 5'10" | PG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ (Arizona Pride/Xavier College Prep): Nesland is magnificent at finishing at the rim and utilizing ball fakes to create space. Offensively, she’s as high IQ as it gets. She is exceptionally good at running the fast break and finding open teammates for layups. Nesland is one of the best floor generals in the nation in the class of 2024. Nesland averaged 14PTS, 6RBS, 5 ASTS and 3 STLS a game during her sophomore season. Nesland currently holds Division-1 offers from University of the Pacific, University of Louisiana-Monroe and Army. Look for Nesland to have a monster junior season and continue to draw attention from some of the top division 1 schools in the nation.
3) 2024 5’11 G Sarah Nakamura Miller Sarah Nakamura Miller 5'11" | SG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ ( Sports Academy Swish GBL/ Xavier College Prep): Miller is one of the best scorers in the class of 2024. She is a 3-level scorer and thrives with the ball in her hands. During her sophomore season she shot the rock at 53% from field. Miller averaged 20 PTS, 5RBS, 2ASTS and 2.5 STLS a game during her sophomore season. Look for Miller to heighten her already eye-raising stats during her junior campaign. Miller holds Division-1 offers from: San Diego and Fresno State.
4) 2024 6’1 F Aniyah Riddell Aniyah Riddell 6'1" | PF Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ ( AZ Elite/ Mountain Pointe HS): Riddell is an interior force that is exceptional at finishing around the rim. Her ability to finish in the paint through contact makes her an elite post prospect. Riddell is a rebounding machine and I would anticipate her averaging a double-double easily this upcoming season. Defensively, she uses her strength to her advantage as she is able move her opponents off the block. It is very difficult to score on Riddell in the post. Riddell is deceptively athletic as she is able to jump passing lanes and handle the ball. Look for Riddell to continue to improve her game and solidify herself as one of the best prospects in the state of Arizona. Riddell will continue to draw attention from college coaches around the country.
5) 2024 5’9 G Jocelyn Michelle Chavez Jocelyn Michelle Chavez 5'9" | SG Valley Vista | 2024 State AZ (Southwest Premier/Valley Vista HS): Chavez is an outstanding prospect in the class of 2024. She is a dead-eye shooter from 3, can create for her teammates, and defend at a very high-level. She has one of the silkiest jump shots in the class of 2024 which she displayed this last spring for Southwest Premier. Look for Chavez to continue to solidify herself as one of the best prospects in the state of Arizona and one of the best shooters in the nation.
