In this article, we look at the 2024 participants in the PGH Top 250 Expo. Half of these players have already gained recognition for their play on Varsity and travel ball. The other half are players who have had to wait for their turns as the older teammates graduated or moved on. All of the players listed will be in attendance with one goal in mind- have a good showing and "make them" take notice.

[player_tooltip player_id='349379' first='Priyanka' last='Alibhai'] / 5'9 / Palmer Trinity. In 2021 The Junior guard averaged 4.4 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per contest. Alibhai connected on 10 three-pointers for the season. She can get out in transition and score the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='331713' first='Nia' last='Blocton'] / 6'0 / Ridgeview. Last year Blocton averaged 15.7 points and 12.1 rebounds per game. She also averaged nearly 3 steals per game and 1.3 blocks per game. As a Freshman, the versatile Blocton averaged a double-double with 13.2 points and 16.2 rebounds per game. The stats are just part of the story. The impressive part is watching the Junior get up and down the court with the speed of a guard before powering the ball in the paint with the left or right hand. She is a workhorse on the glass as well and can mix it up on the inside. She is one of the top power forwards - centers in the 2024 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='495946' first='Claire' last='Coogan'] / 5'5 / Episcopal. The first thing that comes to mind about Coogan is her heart and dedication to the "round ball." She is a tireless worker who continues to get better. Coogan can handle the ball and can play the point or the shooting guard. She can score from all levels on the court, including the long-range three. Coogan has a nice shot and will take the shot in the crucial moments. Coogan can also drive the ball to the goal. She is gritty and savvy on the court and plays with a high basketball IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='495959' first='Kiyana' last='Hunter'] / 5'3 / Mandarin. Hunter is a selfless player on the basketball court and looks to make the basketball play. Dropping a dime is just as satisfying as knocking down a three-pointer. She is a really good passer and does a good job of passing so her teammate is in scoring position after the catch. She has good speed on the court and can quickly change directions. Hunter has a high IQ and can identify her open teammates quickly. She has a good shot and can knock it down from beyond the three-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='495942' first='Asya' last='Jones'] / 5'5 / Bishop John Snyder. Jones averaged 9.3 points per game as a Sophomore. She led her team with 222 points. Jones also snagged 4.2 rebounds per game from the guard position. Defensively, Jones gets after it. She averaged 3.2 steals per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='248337' first='Danigzy' last='Mantilla'] / 5'5 / St Cloud. Mantilla (pictured above) averaged 9.5 points and 4.1 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='495957' first='Kayla' last='Massey'] / 5'4 / Ribault. Kayla runs the point guard with a purpose. She is very aggressive on the offensive end and can handle the ball and get to the goal. Massey has a good midrange shot and can also knock down the three. She is at her best when she is on the attack. Defensively, Massey is an in-your-face defender. She knows how to compete. She can play one position or the two position. When at the shooting guard position, she is constantly on the move, making it hard for a defender to keep up.

[player_tooltip player_id='495939' first='Amira' last='Pierre-Jerome'] / 5'9 F-C / Lake Minneola. Averaged 3 points per game and nearly 5 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='495938' first='Amaya' last='Pierre-Jerome'] / 5'9 G / Lake Minneola. Averaged 4.4 points per game last year and 2 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='495950' first='Hailey' last='Revak'] / 5'4 / Orange Park. Last season Revak knocked down 19 three-pointers. During travel ball, the Junior guard showed great confidence in her three-point shooting and was very impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='495956' first='Karyna' last='Rivera'] / 5'5 / St Cloud. Last season Rivera put up eye-popping numbers, averaging 19.9 points per game. Rivera knocked down 84 three-pointers. Rivera also played some defense, averaging 4.0 points per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='495962' first='Mia' last='Saunders'] / 5'6 / Lake Minneola. Saunders is a guard who can score the ball. She averaged 18.2 points per game as a Sophomore with 16 threes. She scored primarily in the 2-point area shooting nearly 40 percent. Saunders also knows how to get to the free throw line. She went to the line 40 times last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='495979' first='Zoe' last='Sedo'] / 5′ 2 / Windermere Prep. Sedo averaged 10.3 points per game and nearly 4 assists per game. Sedo is an aggressive shooter who knocked down 37 threes last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='495963' first='Molly' last='Smith'] / 5'3 / Horizon. Smith averaged 15. 7 points per contest last year and scored 236 points for the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='495970' first='Rylee' last='Taber'] / 5'4 / S Ft Myers. Averaged 3 .3 points per game and 76 points last season. Taber is looking to come from under the radar in her Junior campaign.

If you know of any players are teams we should be covering, please email me at Keith at Hunterkeithl@gmail.com or DM me on Twitter at @Hunterkeithl.
