One thing I never do is copy anyone, not because of plagiarism, because I could care less because the same folks many look up to are the same ones that omitted my daughter from McDonald’s All-American team.
Why asked the clueless, because I have a smart mouth, and don’t have an agenda or play politics so what I see, is what I write and I will never change so here are my next 5. Always remember, no one knows more about this, that is relevant than I do and my record, both on and off the court speaks volumes, here ya go
Alexia Lohman Alexia Lohman 5'9" | SG Royse City | 2023 TX -5’9 SG (Royse City) 2023
Lohman had out-of-state people coming and asking me about her and I told them, I knew nothing before today and if I did see her, I didn’t have a roster and kept it moving. Well, I had a roster this time and she kept it moving, that first step is semi-explosive so factor in she’s “long and athletic”, that’s the base. She has good body control and finished off balance, she also has a very good pull-up jumper and dropped shots from everywhere, mid to long, picture playing around the world
Brelee Nichols Brelee Nichols 5'11" | PG Hargrave | 2024 TX -5’10 SG (Hargrave) 2024
Nichols falls into the “I knew her before she was born” category as I have known her mom forever, she’s still one of my favorite people but no nepotism is needed because her baby can flat-out play. She too is “long and athletic” and watching her elevate over defenders effortlessly and drop it however and whenever she wanted, had me smiling. I hadn’t seen her, nice growth spurt, which adds to the equation because college coaches love big guards that can shoot. She rebounds, handles the ball coast to coast, and plays the passing lane, oh yeah, she defends too
Mackenzie Espinosa Mackenzie Espinosa 6'0" Chapel Hill | 2024 TX -6’0 PF/C (Chapell Hill) 2024
Espinosa put the EXCLAMATION point out there with her interior play. She’s from Chapel Hill, they’re known for their sausage but she was smoking off the grill from the start of the event. I love the intensity, watching her bang on the boards and going after everything, JUST DID IT, for me as I drop that hashtag, #THROWBACK. She finished strongly after attacking powerfully, yes after contact, and also showed the midrange jumper. You won’t outwork her, she even showed she could defend in and outside the paint
Tianya Williams Tianya Williams 5'8" | SG Paris | 2024 TX -5’8 SG/SF (Paris) 2024
Williams got tired of me making the jokes about Paris, hey there were some players outside of Texas so I had to ask but her game spoke volumes. Initially, her defense stood out, on the ball was smothering and helped create turnovers yet she also dove after loose balls and understood how to fight through screens. Then, with the blink of an eye, it happened as she scored in droves. Off the dribble and after contact, with either hand, was very nice as she used her athleticism well, yet when she showed me the jumper and how quickly she released it, hey bonjour
Kaylie Carr-5’8 CG (WT White) 2025
Carr was driving in the fast lane but I already knew about her as she left a lasting first impression on her club team. Guess what, she’s even better and like the others on here, she’ll be added to the Top 100. Her COD, change of direction also means “cash on delivery” because she was one of the best finishers at the event. She has SWB, speed with the ball. and a variety of moves to keep the defender guessing. Her mid to long range is nice, and so is her court vision as she made tough passes, on the money, look easy
