College basketball programs should take notice and start recruiting these ladies for next year. It’s time to #RecruitThePalmettoState
Kaelin makes the engine go for the Lady Eagles. Davis has helped Military Magnet win the past 2 Class 1A State Championships.
Kaelin really understands the game and finding her spots on the floor to get to with the ball. She is a pass first point guard who really excels in the transition game. Kaelin has a quick set of hands that lead to many steals going the other way for easy buckets. Can she cap off her high school career with 3 state championships?
Jadein has good size to play anywhere in the backcourt and perimeter. She brings good versatility to the floor with her ability to handle the rock and make shots on the perimeter.
Haynes will look to lead the Lady Warriors this season down in the Lowcountry. Haynes and her teammates have plenty of talent on the roster this season to surprise some programs.
Jaidah can play off the ball and out on the wing at times for the Lady Vikings. She brings a tremendous attitude on and off the floor at all times. Liebert plays the game very active and can get to the basket fairly easily.
Jaidah rebounds the ball well from her position on the floor. The Lady Vikings will lean on Jaidah for her senior leadership this season and so won’t Head Coach Megan Assey.
Highlights
Sailor recently took a visit up to the State of Maine. She visited Maine Maritime Academy a NCAA D3 school located in Castine.
Sailor has gotten stronger over the past year since making the move over to the Lady Braves from Lowcountry Prep. She played a bit passive at times today with her shot. Sailor can knockdown open shots and usually throws in a ton of bounce passes to her arsenal.
The Lady Braves will rely on her and fellow Senior MacKenzie Massey to make some noise this year in the region.
Massey you can describe in one word “HUSTLE”. MacKenzie won’t wow you with anything she does but, she NEVER lacks effort on the floor.
She is a player you find minutes on the floor every game because she will bring it and do the little things to help the teams effort. MacKenzie can knockdown the 3-ball when given the opportunity but, she really takes pride in being a defender at times.
Alyssa came in to Gray Collegiate a year ago after starting her career in the Upstate at Eastside HS.
Alyssa is a good piece of the puzzle player on this talented Lady War Eagles team. Her stats won’t overwhelm you at times but, she hits open jumper, picks up a loose ball, grabs some rebounds very well. Alyssa helps you WIN games just with her attitude and buying into the team concept.
