Liebert finished her career with the Lady Vikings averaging 14.1 ppg and 5.1 rebounds this season. Jaidah is a very coachable player who brings a good mindset to the hardwood. She recently picked up offers from Spartanburg Methodist College and Benedict College (SC) (NCAA D2).

Liebert brings constant hustle at all times to the floor with her ability to score from all 3 levels at times. She plays very well in the passing lanes while also being active away from the ball.

In 2021-22, the Vikings put everyone on notice that the team was beginning its rapid ascent up South Carolina’s 5A ranks. That ascent appears to continue. Coach Megan Assey’s Spring Valley 2022-23 assembling, as of this writing, has started the season with a 6-3 record with the veteran Liebert leading the way. She is averaging 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals in those nine games. Liebert is an exceptional ball handler who can also play as a two in addition to a three. She displays impressive court vision, can take and make her fair share of 3-point tries and is a consistent on-court leader for her team.

One can certainly count on Liebert to put plenty of points on the scoreboard whenever she is on the court. The Vikings’ veteran guard did so again as she concluded her team’s matchup with Marlboro County having scored 11 points in a one-sided victory. Liebert continued to showcase how efficient of a floor runner she is in addition to displaying how much of an on-court leader she is. Her defense will often lead to additional Spring Valley possessions and she can play the game on contact which will place her at the free throw line. Liebert can also be in position to grab plenty of rebounds.

(*PGH Preseason Player of the Year*)rnThe 2021-22 campaign was a resurgent one for the 5A school at the corner of Hardscrabble and Two Notch. Liebert and the rest of her Vikings teammates turned it up a notch last season. She ran on the grassroots realm with Upward Stars Select 2023. Much of what she does occurs in the backcourt as a guard. In addition to putting plenty of points on the board, Liebert is a skilled rebounder and can weave her way through defenders en route to the rack. Expect for the Vikings to continue their ascent up the 5A ranks in the 2022-23 season.

Perhaps the scene at North Charleston on Saturday afternoon was a glimpse into the future of what is to come in the 2022-23 season. There was a healthy Vikings contingent on hand led by its veteran point guard. Liebert is gifted at setting up an offense in a halfcourt set and can manage to grab rebounds. She is confident in her midrange jump shot and her overall ability to put plenty of points on the board. With the 5A landscape across South Carolina having changed drastically over the offseason, it creates an even bigger lane for the Vikings to establish themselves as one of its premier teams.

No lies told … the 2021-22 was a resurgent one for the Vikings and coach Megan Assey. Liebert led Spring Valley to a 16-10 record, the second round of the 5A state tournament and is a major reason why her team could be a 5A darkhorse in 2022-23. She gets herself in position to haul in rebounds and slice and dice her way to the rim. Liebert in many ways is the table setter for Spring Valley and her skillset along with her veteran experience will make the Vikings a tough out for any foe in the upcoming season.

Jaidah can play off the ball and out on the wing at times for the Lady Vikings. She brings a tremendous attitude on and off the floor at all times. Liebert plays the game very active and can get to the basket fairly easily.

Jaidah rebounds the ball well from her position on the floor. The Lady Vikings will lean on Jaidah for her senior leadership this season and so won’t Head Coach Megan Assey.
