Olivia Frankel Olivia Frankel 5'10" | SG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State AZ – is a 5-10 sophomore who plays for Notre Dame Prep in Scottsdale. She can play both point and shooting guard and averaged 4.6 points per game as a freshman last winter. The Lady Saints finished with an overall 16-9 record in 2022, 7-3 in their division. Her mother, a marketing executive, played Division I basketball at Davidson College. Olivia was named to the Honorable Mention team in the 4A West Valley Region while playing for Coach Dell Mims. She also had a weighted GPA of 3.33.
One scout had this to say about Olivia: “She is a lengthy player in the class of 2025and a name you want to keep your eye on. She can shoot from the perimeter, pull up for a mid-range jumper, and finish at the rim. Defensively, she is gritty and the first player to dive for a loose ball. She also utilizes her wingspan to create deflections and steals. Look for her to improve and solidify herself as one of the best prospects in the class of 2025.”
AYANNA GOODE – is a 5-9 sophomore who plays at Phoenix North High School. As a freshman, she averaged 9.0 points per game 2.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists for the Lady Mustangs. Her team finished 11-14 overall last season and 6-4 in the 6A region.
On five different games, Ayanna was selected as Player of the Game by Maz Preps. Against South Mountain High School. she shot 6 of 7 from beyond the arc for 18 points. Head Coach Dariyon Shabazz is expecting an outstanding season from Ayanna in 2022-23.
TYSYN JOHNSON – Is a 4-10 freshman point guard who will be playing this winter for the Valley Vista Monsoon in Surprise. Tysyn is looking for a great performance at Expo 250 as she continues to improve after playing for her grassroots team this past spring and summer.
Playing in the 6A West Valley Region, Valley Vista has won five state championships in the last six years under Head Coach Rachel Matakas. Last fall, Coach Matakas was diagnosed with cancer and had a heart attack. She recovered during the winter to resume coaching the Monsoon to another title.
ERICA McGADNEY – is a 5-10 sophomore guard and forward for the Saguaro Sabercats in Scottsdale. Her team finished with an overall record of 13-13 last year and 4-4 in their conference. Sahuaro lost to Paradise Honors in last February’s state tournament, 82-57.
Playing for Head Coach Aria Ham, Erica averaged 3.4 points per game along with 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals. She had 13 points in a win over Coronado this past December last. She is also looking to showcase her improved skills at Expo 250 in October.
