I was very impressed with her ball handling and how she is able to attack space with her handle. She is aggressive getting to the rim, and uses her size to bounce off of her opponents and absorb contact on her way through the paint. I was very impressed with her tenacity, she constantly wreaks havoc on her opponent by forcing a second or third defender to step up, allowing her to make a pinpoint pass to the shooters in the corner. She is dominant on the defensive end of the court, coming over as a help defender and throwing shots into the stands. She is good at using her length and staying grounded to effect shots. She is scrappy with active hands that have a knack of poking the ball free from her opponents. I was very impressed by how well she was able to play out of the high post, manipulating her defender with jab steps out of the triple threat but more importantly making pinpoint passes to cutting teammates after drawing out the center. She is an absolute menace on the defensive end of the court, cleaning up her teammate's mistakes and anchoring her defense. I was very impressed by her tenacity on this end of the court, you can tell she takes pride in shutting down her opponents, and is good at staying vertical and not falling for silly pump fakes. She stays grounded and uses her height and arm length to affect shots, time and time again. Her patience on the defensive end allows her to easily time shots and wait for her opponent' to go up with it. She is a consistent finisher down low as well, cleaning up her teammates misses and quickly putting them back in before the defense has a chance to react! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#12 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='391605' first='Victoria' last='Flores'] </strong>2023 5'7 Duncanville High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_635ff79b061d0","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["391605"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"edit"} /--> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Victoria is an aggressive play maker who loves to attack the defense from all three levels of the floor. She loves attacking the paint to draw a second defender, but more importantly stopping on a dime and pulling up from the mid range if given the space. She has an incredibly tight and impressive handle, allowing her to get anywhere she wants on the court. She attacks aggressive defenders and uses their momentum against them very well. She constantly shifts them with her quick crossovers and manipulates them with her eyes every time down. Her confidence with her handle allows her to get everywhere on the court and her craftiness and ability to score with runners and pull up jumpers is an elite weapon. She is incredibly confident with a live dribble, manipulating her defender and fading into space at will. Her aggressiveness on the court is an elite weapon as she attacks the rim, but as soon as she feels them sag off on her she is rising up and pulling it in your face. Jackson is a complete scorer who you can tell has spent countless hours in the gym, she is unafraid of closeout defenders and has an incredibly deep bag by how well she is able to maneuver around her opponents with skillful moves. Her pull up game is an elite weapon for her, and she calmly scores from beyond after shaking her opponent's out of their shoes.
