Not a lot of movement on where players were however I did get to catch a few several times that repositioned themselves, most of which did so during the ever so important JULY events as I will always stand by "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against"

Marshall elevated her game as she elevates over defenders, with a vengeance. She had a great July every time I caught her and her extended range made her "hard to handle" because she handles the ball so well from the outside that her attacking the basket and finishing acrobatically, many times after contact was nice. Oh yeah, she's long and athletic, that is the base.

#6 [player_tooltip player_id='134029' first='Loghan' last='Johnson']-5'8 CG (Houston Christian) CY Fair EYBL

Up from #11

Johnson was tabbed #D1Lock probably before her first middle school game by me so before you read some self-promoter talking about they made her, the package was already taped. Her progression tied the ribbon and her defense ties offensive players up because she can go "on the ball" baseline to baseline. She also drops the midrange consistently, which is a lost art, and, delivers in clutch situations

#9 [player_tooltip player_id='204180' first='Tobi' last='Ademuwagun']- 5'11 PF (The Village School) Team Spaz

Up from #18

Ademuwagun falls into the "I told you so" category and although I love saying I was right, she made it easy because she goes after the ball off the rim as well as anyone. In fact, let me drop #THROWBACK because her powerful rebounding and finishes are from a different era. Her extended range from deep helped solidify everything I said and with over 20 D1 offers, one more time, I was right

#10 [player_tooltip player_id='204178' first='Jadyn' last='Atchison']-6'1 SG (Cedar Hill) Pro Skills EYBL

Up from #15

Atchinson is a "mismatch waiting to happen" because she is "long and athletic" remember that is the base, and her intangibles are all over the place. She creates her shot under pressure and her first step is as powerful as her finishes yet she also drops the mid to long-range jumper and can go coast to coast to drop it or keep it and score with ease

#26 [player_tooltip player_id='391608' first='Kelly' last='Mora']-6'1 PF (Monterrey) Cy Fair EYBL

Up from #40

Mora is a player I lost track of yet she too was tagged #D1Lock before that first middle school game. Her frame coupled with the "hands and footwork" JUST DID IT for me way back then and as she progressed, she became even more polished around the basket, finishing with either hand, after contact included. She also scores from outside and rebounds on both ends

#27 [player_tooltip player_id='204175' first='Shanel' last='Reid']-5'10 SF (Austin) TD Swift

Up from #45

Reid turned it up, even more, didn't catch her in July yet that Alamo City Hoops High School Showdown showed me enough because I am a REAL EVALUATOR. Mid to the long-range has always been there, and so has her scoring off the dribble yet her ballhandling and court vision make her an even larger threat. She also defends both inside the paint and on the perimeter and she rebounds on both ends

#32 [player_tooltip player_id='204186' first='Avari' last='Berry']-5'7 PG (Pflugerville) Austin Elite RFW

Up from #39

Berry is one of the top UNSIGNED guards in Texas and her ability to put her team "on her back" not only in July but throughout the season was something to see. Although I love her body control on finishes, worthy of Barnum and Bailey recognition, her court vision simply stood out. She threads the needle like a master seamstress and her unselfishness always stands out. You go from good to great by making those around you better, she has proven that, yet don't get it twisted because she can drop the mid to very long just like that
