2024 Rankings Update: New Faces-Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I can understand my bluntness rubs some the wrong way yet I can't simplify things any clearer than if I don't see you, I'm not interested in anyone else's opinion. These 5 guards were added because I caught them at not only <strong>Prep Girls Hoops</strong> events, on the circuit, tournaments, or INDIVIDUAL SHOWCASES, or maybe just some other event <strong><a href="https://girlzprepreport.com/upcomingevents/">I have listed on my website. </a></strong>It's not that hard, no, I don't have time to look at thousands of videos for free, that makes no sense because one more time, I am a <strong>REAL EVALUATOR </strong>and these young ladies went off several times in front of me, "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against" as well as "who you do it in front of" </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":422854,"width":256,"height":171,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/0-Taylor-Spencer1-1024x682.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-422854" width="256" height="171"/></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#30 [player_tooltip player_id='434970' first='Taylor' last='Spencer']-5'8 PG (Cleveland) Houston Lady Nets</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Spencer was how can I say this, mesmerizing at times, and when you can take over a game without scoring, that's HUGE. Her defense, whether it was "on the ball" baseline to baseline, forcing players into traps as well as committing turnovers, she JUST DID IT all, that includes playing the passing lane. Her smothering defense had me sweating from the sideline, she dove for loose balls, and battled for rebounds against taller players yet she also was VOCAL on the court, another lost art. I love big guards that can shoot, that's another profile I talk about often, but more importantly, college coaches love it too. She elevates with power and drops mid to long-range with a hand in her face but that same power applies to her attacking the rim and finishing strongly. She created her shot in the set to drop it while being tightly guarded but she also attacked off the dribble with either hand and finished, with either hand. Well, she definitely can play and her DSWB, speed with the ball, was a joy to see at the PGH Top 250 Expo. She hit teammates from 20 feet without breaking a stride, in traffic yet she also showed a nice pull-up jumper both in the set as well in transition. She scored acrobatically off the dribble and was a terror on defense </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
