Ball at Lynwood Fall Showcase – Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We were at the Lynwood Fall Showcase today and saw some things that we really liked, saw some girls that we had never put our eyes on and saw some of he usual suspects as well. We evaluated the following girls and we believe they did work and played the game the correct way in our eyes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2023, 5'7, PG, Esperanza HS, [player_tooltip player_id='104204' first='Kaiya' last='Mack']</strong> - Kaiya is that point guard that gives her team everything it needs to win, she is very skilled and one of the better athletes on the floor. She is capable of scoring from everywhere on the court and she does this with alot of activity on the floor. She defends as well and is a leader on the floor as a lead guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'9, PG, Long Beach Poly HS, Helena Vu</strong> - Helena is the crafty point guard that most coaches need to run their teams, she has good size and is an ample ball handler to boot. She can score from all three levels on the floor and she seems to be the one the coaches want to have the ball. She ran the floor well and was able to utilize the drive and kick game with consistency. She was solid in our eyes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2023, 6'0, C, Esperanza HS, [player_tooltip player_id='388391' first='Bella' last='Vosper'] </strong>- Bella is an agile post player that is capable of scoring a ton of points in the paint, she has a nice body and uses it well on the court. She ran the floor well and was able to catch with soft hands and finish over her defenders. She was also a great passer out of the double team and made some good assist to teammates for easy buckets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'9, SF, Long Beach Poly HS, Joy Anderson</strong> - Joy had a good ability to finish shots at the rim or from short distance with either a midrange shot. She was a good size guard and knew how to play the game when she was on the floor. She defended well and kept her opponent in front of her, the containment was very consistent, we enjoyed watching her play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
