Ball at Lynwood Fall Showcase – Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We were at the Lynwood Fall Showcase today and saw some things that we really liked, saw some girls that we had never put our eyes on and saw some of he usual suspects as well. We evaluated the following girls and we believe they did work and played the game the correct way in our eyes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 6'1, PF, Long Beach Poly HS, [player_tooltip player_id='390507' first='Brooklyn' last='Taylor']</strong> - Brooklyn is a beast, she can score in the paint, from the midrange and she is a nightmare on the boards. She ran the floor, blocked shots, she rebounded the ball on both sides of the floor and she was able to get easy putbacks off those rebounds. She is skilled in the paint and scored at will when she had the chance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2023, 5'10, SF, Esperanza HS, [player_tooltip player_id='388392' first='Emma' last='Wu']</strong> - Emma is another solid wing player for her team, she is agile and athletic and can shoot the ball from the perimeter. She is capable of scoring when she is open and she is very capable of defending , which they do well at her school. She runs the floor well and is a willing passer in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'9, CG, Long Beach Poly HS, [player_tooltip player_id='393741' first='Jazmyne' last='Shamburger']</strong> - Jazmyne is a slick and tough guard with a nice skillset, she makes tough shots and can get buckets in a hurry. She can score from all three levels and is very crafty with the ball and makes some great baskets getting to hoop and finishing against contact. We even love her tenacity on the defensive side of the ball, she is a menace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2024, 5'9, SF, Esperanza HS, Alexis Quon</strong> - solid guard type with the ability to finish shots at the rim, she is agile and athletic, she can run the floor in transition and finish thru contact. She is a willing rebounder and is a pertty good defender on the floor, she keeps her opponent in front and contained.
