The phrase “speed kills” applies to Taniyah Bowman Taniyah Bowman 5’2″ | PG Bradwell Institute | 2023 State GA . To no surprise a track standout, Bowman uses her quickness to get to the rim at will. She attacks off the dribble using hesitation moves and jab steps to create separation and get defenders on their heels. Taniyah provides outstanding energy. She’s a good leaper which makes her an effective rebounder. Bowman is a GameChanger with her electric play.
The incoming freshman has a chance to set records at New Manchester. She’s physically mature, patiently working with the ball before putting her head down and turning corners to get to the bucket. She’s already stronger than most guards and plays with great balance. Guilford has the ability to fill up box scores in other ways than just scoring. Don’t be surprised if the GameChanger finishes with multiple triple-doubles in her career.
Highlights
Osho is quickly developing into a high ceiling forward that will likely attract plenty of D-I attention. At 6-foot, Danielle is mobile and holds a diverse skill set. She’s a true inside-out threat that can score with her back to the basket but also step outside and shoot the three with consistency. Osho really trusts her jump shot and is comfortable shooting on the perimeter. She is capable of pushing the ball in transition. Osho is a GameChanger in the paint on defense with her ability to block shots and her foot speed to help switch on guards.
Highlights
Cornelia is wired to score. She won’t have many games in her career where she is held under 10 points. Ellington is always in attack mode, especially looking to get downhill. She’s quick to the rim and has good body control when scoring through contact. Ellington is also a dangerous shooter. She nailed a game-winning three in sudden death overtime to lift her team to a camp opening win.
Lindsey Pirkle Lindsey Pirkle 6’1″ | C North Forsyth | 2024 State GA gets better and better every time I watch her. Something clicked for her after Peach Games and she has played with great confidence since. Lindsey is a steady rebounder and rim protector. Her growth offensively will lead to a breakout season. Pirkle has a soft touch from the mid-range and now shoots the three without hesitation. She scores with a hook shot in the paint. The game has slowed down for Lindsey as the physicality of playing under the basket looks much more natural. Pirkle seems to be in great shape as well, leaning up and looking nimble. Piedmont became her first offer last month. With another year of development forth coming, I think D-II offers could materialize quickly for the GameChanger.

Taj Hunter Taj Hunter 5’8″ | CG Grayson | 2024 State GA checked the boxes for all three levels as a scorer. She used a wicked quick first step to get downhill, finishing with a pretty floater. Hunter was effective from the mid-range and shot the three with range overtop of screens. Taj’s burst of speed and well-rounded scoring arsenal will make her a GameChanger in the Archer backcourt after transferring from Stephenson.
