Mass MIAA Guards who could be in Store for a Breakout season.

High School season is right around the corner. As we preview the season, we look at 5 Guards from Massachusetts in the MIAA that could be In store for a breakout season. [player_tooltip player_id='269545' first='Carly' last='Dimento'], Tyngsboro, Position PG, HT 5-6, AAU BDS, Class 2024 A tough gritty Point Guard. She is mentally tough on the court, and even when things aren't going as well, she does not look down. She is a pesky defender, and good at not letting players go back door, or face cut on her. On offense she is pass first, and is good facilitating the offense. Carly is a leader on the floor, something you want to see in your teams floor general. [player_tooltip player_id='393468' first='Avery' last='Brown'], High School Canton, Class 2024, Position SG, HT 5-8 Brown is a versatile Guard, with good length for the position. She is one of the better rebounders at the guard position. She can score in transition, and in the half court. A skilled guard who does a bunch of things to impact the game. [player_tooltip player_id='335233' first='Charlotte' last='Buckley'] , High School Chelmsford, Position CG, Class 2025, HT 5-7, AAU Mass Elite. Buckley is a high percentage shot maker. She is a player you can count on down the stretch when you need a big time shot. She can shoot from the outside and from mid range. She is really good at shooting over the top of the defense. She has a high shot release and a soft shooting touch. She can create her own shot and shoot off the dribble or the move. She can play on the ball or off the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='299213' first='Geanna' last='Bryant'], High School Brookline, Position PG, Class 2023, AAU NE Panthers, HT 5-6 Bryant is a true three level scorer, with a variety of moves to score. If you play up on her she can get by you by changing speeds, her hesitation move, or in and out move. If you play off her she can pull up from the outside or mid range. She is a crafty guard, and proves she can score over bigger players. Also a pesky defender. Can't wait to see watch she does in her senior season for Brookline. [player_tooltip player_id='298698' first='Erica' last='Hills'] , AAU Mass Huskies, High School Dover Sherborne, Class 2024, Position SG, HT 5-9, Hills should continue to raise her stock in her Junior season. She is a tough hard nose competitor. She is very effective moving with out the ball, setting screens, and with her spot up three point shooting. She is an unselfish player, who puts the team needs first. Hills is effective and plays hard on both sides of the floor and looks well conditioned. She is proving to be a college level prospect.
