Alvarez is a crafty tough and skilled point Guard. She has tight ball handling skills and has a variety of dribble moves to get by the defense. She had some strong takes to the rim in the scrimmage, and also stepped outside to hit a few three pointers. She is a playmaking guard, with a good skill set for a floor general. She is a player with a high motor, and someone you can trust to make the right decision running the offense.
Tiyara is a crafty Point Guard. She communicates well on the floor and is very vocal. She is scrappy and tough. She may not be the biggest on the floor, but that doesn’t stop her. She is alway in attack mode looking to score or set her teammates up. A high energy guard, who has is always trying to improve.
Highlights
Ruby Thompson
Ruby Thompson
Ruby Caught my eye in the 1on 1 drills last night and in the scrimmages. She is a member of the class of 2027 so she still has plenty of time to gain stock. I really liked her finishing yesterday and her ability to pass or score the ball in transition, she was also able to rotation well on defense and force a few turnovers. I have now seen her play multiple times and I realize she has a strong upside.
Natalie Chamberland
Natalie Chamberland
Natalie had a good showing at the Showcase. She took a number of strong takes to the rim. She had a good shot selection and did not force shots up. She was also always supporting her teammates, and made it look like it wasn’t the first time they played together.
Syenna Diaz
Syenna Diaz
Syenna had a number of good passes during the scrimmage. She showed her ability to read the defense and set her teammates up. She also had a nice finish in transition for a layup. On defense she was good staying between her player and the basket, and knowing where the ball is.
