Players came to Conway, AR to compete and put their talent on display in front of talent evaluators and college coaches. Here’s a look at five players from the class of 2026 that were stock risers from this camp.
Maranda Emerson | 5’6 | PG | Watson Chapel | 2026
It’s great seeing players that love to give effort on defense. Maranda took pride on the defensive end. The effort she gives on defense makes her a solid defender whether she’s guarding the ball or playing the passing lanes. On offense she handled the ball well and was a nice passer. She also showed she could finish in transition.
Kristyn Cooper | 5’2 | PG | Parkview | 2026
Kristyn brought the energy the whole day. It didn’t matter if she was going through drills, 3v3, or 5v5. She played hard and with a lot of heart. She possesses a good handle that allows her to get past the defense and finish in the paint. Despite her size she’s crafty to enough to finish over the bigger defenders. Kristyn is also a good athlete. She uses her speed and quickness well in the half-court and in transition to make plays.
Ava Allison | 5’8 | Combo Guard | Lakeside | 2026
Something that was great about this camp was being able to see players that I haven’t seen before. Ava is a player that has a nice skill set and with good potential. When she’s behind the three point line the defense has to keep someone close. She’s a threat that can get hot. Ava also did something that a lot of players struggle with and that’s communicate on defense. You would often hear her calling out screens, cutters, her help position, and anything else that needed to be communicated.
Drew Jackson Drew Jackson 5'7" | CG Bald Knob | 2026 State AR | 5’7 | Combo Guard | Bald Knob | 2026
Of all the players on this list Drew is probably the most intriguing. She has the size to play both guard spots, she makes good decisions, can attack from the perimeter with her shooting or put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. Drew is strong enough to play through contact and finish for the ”And 1”. I’m interested to see how she contributes this season for Bald Knob.
Kendri Broughton Kendri Broughton 5'10" | C Dumas | 2026 State AR | 5’9 | Post | Dumas | 2026
Kendri is a little undersized to play the post position, but she still did some things well at the camp. Since she doesn’t have a lot of length she did a good job of getting position for the rebound. She even showed she was comfortable bringing the ball down the floor after securing the defensive rebound. Kendri also showed off some good footwork. She displayed the ability to move her feet well on defense when on the perimeter. When on offense she had good footwork around the basket.
