Continue ReadingJanae will get a chance to showcase her skills for the Eagles as she has great handles with strong pace. She is a three-level scorer with bigtime consistency in the midrange. Dayton always has solid freshman who make an impact every season, Cain could be one of them. She is a very solid on-ball defender who can play 94′ with intensity.
Izabel is a solid three-point shooter and has an excellent pull-up jumper. She can handle the ball pretty well and can set up her teammates in the offense. She has a long wingspan which helps her on defense, especially on the defensive end with deflections. She does have the capability to guard multiple positions on the court.
I had the chance to see Alex this summer at the Urbana Shootout, a high school event in June and I came away impressed with her game for a freshman. She can handle the ball well with both hands and is able to create for her team. Has good range and has good court vision, able to distribute the ball. She will be an impact player for the Hillclimbers with talent around her.
Time will tell how quickly her game grows, and according to those who I spoke with, her game has really transformed over the last couple of years. She used to play the point guard spot, now is settled into the wing spot. She can see the floor well and can handle the ball when needed. Working to improve her perimeter game but is an aggressive player.
Really liked this kid a lot at the PGH Freshman event. She has excellent mechanics along with the speed and knowledge of the game to make her very effective at a young age. She is a high skill level player, plays above her years. Anna has good range and can knock down the perimeter shot. One to track through her freshman season.
