While other players grab headlines with their scoring, Chambers will wow you with her passing. She delivered countless on-the-money outlet passes as she pitched ahead of the defense in transition. When in the half court, Chambers created off the dribble and could wrap behind the back passes to fool the defense. Jatiana is undersized but has a strong center of gravity and handles pressure well. She’s an aggressive defender with an overall high IQ. Chambers tallied 9 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals in a 41-30 win over Beach.

Three fouls saddled Black and ultimately dampened any chances of a win, a 17-0 run dooming the Lady Ware Eagles, but Riley still managed to get hers, collecting 16 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block. Black forced her way to the rim for tough buckets as her jumper didn’t fall. Adding counter moves and getting to her left hand will help her against stiff defenses with length.
Bull was a bright spot netting four three-points, two in the first quarter and two in the fourth. She let it fly from deep and shot well off the dribble. Caroline scored 14 of Chestatee’s 32 points as only three players scored. When Bull is hot with her three-point shot, the Lady War Eagles become dangerous and can start to open up the floor.
Part of South Effingham’s 55-36 rebounding effort, crushing the smaller Lady War Eagles on the board in a 45-32 win, Kaymar Griffin Kaymar Griffin 5’8″ | SF South Effingham | 2023 GA used her athleticism and motor to make an impact. Griffin relentlessly crashed the offensive glass scoring on three putbacks. She made some plays inside the arc, attacking the rim and dishing to open teammates. Kaymar showcased a floater in her arsenal. Defensively, Griffin was able to defend 1-5 against Chestatee, providing switchability and length. Kaymar finished with 10 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 block.
Dobbs delivered the daggers in the fourth quarter to halt a Chestatee comeback after they cut the lead to seven points. Laney drained a pair of corner threes to officially put the game out of reach. She knocked down three triples from the corners in total and hit a floater downhill to balance her attack. Dobbs made an impact on the glass as well. Laney finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.
