The conference welcomes 3 new coaches this season. Matt Jones at Meeker, Gary Kenner at Okemah and Caleb Patterson at Prague while several other programs have second year coaches in place.
Last Season Playoff Run Okemah, Seminole and Stroud all made First Round of Area last season with Okemah and Seminole winning Districts
Short List of Returners
Hollie Ladd
Hollie Ladd
All around guard that can score by attacking the paint downhill as well as shoot the 3. The lone returning starter for Seminole
At 6’0 Kileigh is a tall guard who can handle the ball and shoot from the outside. She does a great job attacking the rim and using her height to elevate over smaller player to finish at the rim
Myah Olden
Myah Olden
Myah is coming off a great freshman season where she scored over 250 points. She has great hands and finishes the shot when given the opportunity. She plays with a passion for the game that shows when you want her play.
Charley Coleman
Charley Coleman
Charley is a strong tough player inside but is athletic enough to also step out and knock down the 3. She is a tough defender in paint and good rebounder also
Ryleigh Hill
Ryleigh Hill
Ryleigh is a explosive point guard. She has a very high IQ which allows her to read the defense at a high level, allowing her to be a great passer.
Mia Calliegan
Mia Calliegan
Mia at 5’11 is a strong rebounder at the post position A 2 year starter she will be asked to anchor down the center position
Tatum Pino
Tatum Pino
Tatum at the point guard stop has good handles and a knack for getting downhill to the rim. She will be asked to lead the team that could possibly start 3 freshman at the start of season
22-23 Season Preview
The conference is wide open and it could come down to the end of season to see who wins the conference. Every game is a rival as most have played each other since grade school. Teams must protect home court and win key road games to be in the hunt. Several teams will look to return to Area, while others will count on their youth to help them take the next step in playoffs.
