Sabraya Baker
Sabraya Baker
Sabraya Baker knocked down a deep shot off a pass at the top of the key, and she hit the difficult baseline three pointer late in the first half. She had a nice fake and drive into the paint for two points. She does a nice job being ready in transition to fill in the lanes and catch and shoot for two points. She was setting the nets on fire knocking down four from deep. She had some nice backdoor cuts getting open and staying ready to shoot the ball.
Talya Rowe
Talya Rowe
Taliya Rowe gave her team some life pushing the tempo driving hard to the hoop for her points. She did a nice job getting a three point play through contact scoring in transition. She is patient waiting for the defense to get exposed and fill in the lane for some points. She does the dirty work, too, hustling after loose balls diving on the floor to get them.
Jashontae Harris Jashontae Harris 5’7″ | CG St. Pauls | 2024 State NC hustles down the court filling the lanes attacking the basket. She knocked down some nice three pointers showing off her range. She even knew how to respond to her opponents knocking down a three with her own. She was patient waiting for the perfect time to drive the ball or make a quick pass to her teammate in the paint.
Audrey Ericksen
Audrey Ericksen
Audrey Ericksen, a Boston University commit, was having her way on the court scoring by the rim and pulling up for jump shots. She made her move to get around her defender on her way to finish at the rim. She did a nice job finding her open teammates cutting to the basket backdoor to help them score some points, too. She came out of nowhere to crash the boards for the offensive rebound putting it back up through contact.
Madisyn Jordan Madisyn Jordan 6’0″ | SG Panther Creek | 2023 State NC knocked down her shot from deep on back to back possessions for the catamounts giving them some life late in the third quarter. She had a strong third quarter scoring 14 points with 4 from deep, and she added another one in the fourth quarter helping seal the game. She hustled back on defense being ready to block the shot in transition. She pushed the ball up the court finding her open teammate filling the lanes to the basket.
Reychel Douglas Reychel Douglas 6’0″ | SG Millbrook | 2023 State #41 Nation NC was aggressive driving hard to the hoop battling through contact and converting from the free throw line. She had a nice lob pass perfectly placed off a screen to her teammate cutting to the hoop. She had a nice steal in the fourth quarter leading to a three point play in transition for herself, and this seemed to happen on repeat for her making plays. She had a big second half crashing the boards, using power dribbles to reposition, and putting the ball back up through the hoop.
