Continue ReadingMoving from 35th overall up to the17th spot, Coralee has shown she is comfortable in a complimentary role at the varsity level right now and has the tools to be a go to player as soon as next season. Leading her team in rebounding at 5 per game, Pelfrey has shown she’s not afraid to mix it up in order for her team to get an advantage. Look for her scoring numbers to rise over the course of the season as her three point shooting should improve, long term.
Making her way up the list from 40th to 20th in this update, Stinson is have a huge season statistically but can be harder to evaluate because her team is just ok and their level of competition is down compared to teams like SHA or Manual. One thing for sure, Leah knows how to score the ball and does so at a high level. She could end up leading the 502 in scoring and is doing it fairly efficiently. She’ll be an interesting evaluation in AAU when she’s playing with and against players who are a little better than she does now.
DeCamillis is going to have to wait her turn at SHA because their roster is so talented but her move from 43rd in the class to 28th is predicated on a couple of things. First, our Alyx White loves Gabby’s game and thinks she will be an impact player at Sacred Heart as early as next year. Second, the small forward is going up against D1 players in practice every single day and she will only get better for it. Long term, Gabby is a good bet to pay off as she is definitely trending upward.
