Julia Sloan (Salisbury): A 5’7″ 2025 forward who is physically strong and she plays bigger than her actual height. She can get buckets on tough drives in lane through traffic. She has nifty footwork in the post to step through defenders and score on shots that are high off the glass.
Reece Barnett (Macon): A 2026 guard who really lit it up in the Tigers’ victory over Boonville in the game that I watched in the consolation finals. She scored more than 20 points and knocked down five 3-pointers during the game. She has good court awareness to go along with her skill set.
Peyton Weimer (Macon): A 2026 guard who has a nice impact right away. She has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. She can also handle the ball and play with a lot of poise.
Braylin Brunkhorst Braylin Brunkhorst 5'11" | SG Centralia | 2026 State MO (Centralia, pictured): A 5’10 2026 guard who is capable of impacting the game in a variety of ways. She’s a defensive presence with her good anticipation and positioning. She’s also a good playmaker on offense who can hit open perimeter shots.
Tori Ricketts (Salisbury): A 5’4″ 2025 point guard who plays with a lot of energy, especially on defense where she is a sparkplug. She has good quickness and speed and she can play with good pace. She can also hit the open 3-pointer.
Karagyn Cooper (Boonville): A 2026 guard who was one of the most impressive perimeter shooters that I watched during the tournament. She has a nice shooting stroke from long distance and she shoots the 3-pointer with a lot of confidence. She also moves well to get to the open spots.
Bella Imhoff (Boonville): A young shooting guard who is capable of helping her team in a lot of capacities. She is a solid ball handler who can knock down open 3-pointers. She can rebound well and she has good instincts on the defensive end. She anticipates well and she can get steals in the passing lanes.
Jo Brown (Salisbury): A 6’0″ 2026 forward who has good length and athleticism. She is an excellent rebounder with the ability to block shots in her area. She also runs the court very well. She is just starting to develop as a player, so she has a pretty big upside. I look forward to seeing her in the future.
