Cordova has that “it” factor on the defensive side of the ball. She is relentless, fearless and has a tremendous motor. The instincts and the discipline to stay locked in no matter the situation… is a skill within itself. She constantly checks over her shoulder, but doesn’t lose her assignment during the process. Heart over height remains true.
Arne plays with a ton of emotion, and it seems contagious. She’s a defensive blanket who can knock down the jumper if you give her the space. Her touch around the rim is a great asset as well. The length mixed with the mobility is a for-sure game changer and she’ll be bringing that energy to Emory University next fall.
Highlights
The speed, agility and stamina are on full display when Frempong takes the court. She plays the game with hustle and concentration. Her ability to attack the paint from all different angles with speed and body control are skills that stick out as well. Defensively, the same amount of aggression and focus are applied on every possession. Natalie is a player who can fit and succeed in any type of program.
Highlights
Nisha plays every possession like she’s been in that situation before.. she remains calm, collected and cool on the court. A solid and strong ball handler, who can play with any type of player. She looks for the post and the guards… while still being able to create a bucket for herself. The development and progression over the next couple of years will be fun to watch.
Sydni FInk
Sydni FInk
Two sport athletes are always my favorite to watch.. especially those who play soccer or volleyball, cause you get to see how one sport can give a player an edge in the other.. and Fink falls into that category. She’ll be attending Kentucky for Soccer, and when you watch her play you see why she’s a problem in both sports. Offensively her game is mostly to facilitate, but she will give you a bucket if need be. Defensively.. Sydni is 94 ft of aggression and will agitate any ball handler. She’s lengthy and can move in all directions with the same speed and concentration.
Aggressive and athletic.. Campanelli is on her way to make some serious noise over these next couple of years. She can put the ball on the floor and score, she can knock down the open or contested jumper, and her ability to get to the rim is something to see as well. Anna is starting to put it all together, and when she does it’ll be a problem. Huntley’s future is in good hands.
With being off the court for almost the entire summer.. The Vermont commit hasn’t dropped in play a bit, and neither has her on court leadership. Kerstein plays the combo guard position with an amazing amount of tempo and concentration. She rarely makes mistakes, and can score with the best of them. She is a three level headache of a matchup for her opponents. A top guard in the state, and is still showing why.
Highlights
A combo guard who can switch in out of roles with no issue. Prewitt is aggressive, built and can put the ball on the floor and attack with no problem. She’s tough, poised and has tons of gears that she can go in and out of. Defensively, she’s full of grit and determination. A key piece for her Batavia squad going forward.
Natalie Alesia
Natalie Alesia
Alesia is a knockdown shooter.. open, contested or on the move.. doesnt matter. Smooth and fluid. Without the ball, she moves well and knows how and where to relocate during the flow of the game. She cuts well and on time. Her awareness and high IQ are key factors in that. Defensively, the motor paired with her aggression on the boards are necessity for a program as well. A 3&D type of talent that will compete to the buzzer ends.
