Addison Rhodes
Addison Rhodes
Addison is a 5’11 guard who can score and make plays all over the floor. She is a tireless worker, and that work paid off in a 33-point, 11-rebound debut last week against Beaver Local. Addison scores efficiently from all three levels, as well as from the free throw line. Her defense is vastly improved, and she isn’t afraid to get on the glass on both ends of the court. Addison has a bright future ahead of her!
Wow did she put on a show when I was in the gym at Meadowdale last week in the Dayton City League game. Samara (feature photo above) showed me so much and really solidified her game with me. She was so explosive to the rim with great handles. She is a shifty guard and moves well through the defenders. Not only is she a solid defender, but she is full of energy and able to make plays everywhere. Great court vision and she showed good range. Her stock went up in my eyes last week.
Such a talented player and often gets overlooked in the City League. But she can play! She plays hard at both ends of the court, able to block shots and take the ball coast-to-coast in transition after the block. Handles the ball well for her size, she can get to the rim through contact and finish. Good around the rim and does a nice job sealing off her opponent for the offensive rebound.
Rachel Jacobs
Rachel Jacobs
After missing last season with an injury, Rachel showed me that she does have game! She has very good footwork around the rim, and more than once used a very good dropstep that resulted in a score. A good catch-and-shoot player in the paint and is very agile anywhere inside 15-feet. She is athletic and can defend inside or out. A very solid player.
Destiny Robinson
Destiny Robinson
First time I have seen her play for a very good Ross team. She possesses good on-ball defensive pressure and active hands, which forces mistakes. On the offensive end, she can slash into the paint and hit the floater, plus push the ball in transition with quickness and good handles and has good range from behind the arc. Destiny is an excellent passer with good court vision.
