Luvrain Gaskins
Luvrain Gaskins
Luvrain impacts both ends of the court. As a freshman, she averaged 14 points, 13 rebounds, and blocked a school-record 99 shots. She has worked hard to expand her game, and she is now a capable shooter from distance as well, which will complement her strong inside game. Luvrain opened her sophomore season with a 10-point, 11-rebound, 7-steal performance against Beaver Local and will be a force for the next three seasons!
The Milton Union point guard has strengthened her game over the past year and as a second-year varsity player, she has taken a firmer grip on the leadership role for her team. She is a good decision maker from the point guard spot and is a leader on the floor. Jenna has a good euro move to score and can hurt you inside or out. Good three-point range, can drive and dish and has a high basketball IQ.

From the guard spot, Ella does a nice job in many aspects of the game. She can push the ball in the open court in transition and will find her teammates. Has good handles and able to create opportunities. A good leader and plays the game with good intensity.
Denni Lawrence
Denni Lawrence
I was impressed with the work ethic and effort put out by Denni in their game against Fremont Ross last week. She displayed good moves with the ball and has a good hesitation move at the top of the key. Denni was able to get downhill and finish at the rim. Nice footwork in the paint and her aggressiveness was stellar. Showed good leadership for a younger player and took charge on the court.
A 5’11 post who played solid defense in the paint and gets herself into good position on the floor. She also does a nice job on the defensive end cutting off baseline and has good court awareness. Good court vision and showed knowledge of the game in the time I saw her.
