Early Season Stock Risers

As the holiday season arrives, PGH Tennessee takes an early season look at some prospects around the state that have been getting it done for their clubs. These young ladies have been the glue to their teams success, as they have played conference and non conference games. Though the holiday tournaments are among us, these young ladies stocks are rising towards the top .   [player_tooltip player_id='421980' first='Atyia' last='Moss'] (Sr./G/Clarksville Academy) - The senior captain is a go getter. Doesn't back down from a challenge. Two-way player who is tough on both ends. Multi -level scoring threat who can get down hill, essential in the pick n' roll game, can knock down clutch shots from the mid-range and three point line. Can lock be a lockdown defender who also grabs boards. Super kid who leads by example.   Kyleigh Bacon (Jr./G/ Daniel Boone) - can shoot the rock. Went over state lines and put on a show in an early season tournament in Asheville , NC. Kyleigh stepped up and found the bottom of the net for her club early and often . She was an intricate part to her teams success as they competed. As the game went on, you could tell her confidence grew every time the ball left her hands. Under the radar kid who is about to break through.   [player_tooltip player_id='285370' first='Madi' last='Lewis'] (Sr./ G/ Columbia Academy) - Unselfish player who loves to play ball. 3 level scoring threat who can finish against contact. Sees the floor well, making timely assist. Very impressive on how she attacks gaps in zones to free up herself or kick to teammates. This girl is on a mission to leave a legacy at her school.   [player_tooltip player_id='399954' first='Teniya' last='Morant'] (Sr./PG/ Houston) - It's in her blood, this kid is having an outstanding senior season thus far. Heady guard who can switch speed to get down hill. Has a nice mid range game and can dish the rock like the best of them. Ferocious on the defensive end, always looking to create extra opportunities for her club that lead to easy buckets. Hard working kid who gets after it on both ends of the floor.   [player_tooltip player_id='409074' first='Avary' last='Brewer'](So./ G/ Bradley Central)- Consistency. Avary is going to show up and bring it every game. Lethal from beyond the arc, has great court vision , gets after it on both ends of the floor, and is just an all around talent who is feisty. An unselfish player who creates for her teammates, which in turn frees up opportunities for herself. A me for us type of player , this kid does the little things to contribute to her team's success.
