Mckenzie Taylor is a fierce competitor controlling the tempo for her team handling the ball up the court. She can find ways to zip passes in to her teammates for some points, and she can set herself up for a shot using crossovers to make space. Mackenzie Chabala can do a little bit of everything for her team. She can guard a variety of players including guards around the perimeter and post players inside. She gets to the hoop handling the ball, or she can catch a pass being ready to put it through the hoop. She gets inside to grab rebounds on both ends. She does an excellent job relocating after her pass making sure she is always an asset on the court. She is consistently one of the most vocal players on the court any time she plays.
Nyleiah White is so explosive jumping in the way on defense grabbing steals, and she can take these to the other end before her opponents have time to react. She uses fakes and crossovers to get around her defenders to show off her finish at the rim. She is quick on both ends pushing the ball up the court with ease, and she can stroke it from deep.
Amiaya Hall handles the ball a lot for Julius Chambers, and she has the strength to body anyone on the court. When she handles the ball, she gets it really low making it difficult for anyone to pick her pocket. She is aggressive driving to the hoop showing no fear of contact that may be in her way. Her ability to put opponents on the spin cycle is certainly fun to watch.
Corynn Perkins has a nice finesse in the paint where she can catch the ball at the top of the key and drive to the hoop for some points. She keeps her eyes peeled for teammates cutting to the block, too, and she gets into the right positions to grab rebounds on both ends of the court. She has a variety of post moves including an effective up and under that gets her defenders away from her, so she can get an open shot.
D’Miyah McGuire has been doing it all for her team from scoring the midrange jumpers to getting inside for some points. She uses her strength and height to put the ball through the hoop. She has great awareness on the court knowing how to move to get the ball or find open teammates underneath the basket if she’s working with some high-low options. Her ability to rebound on both ends is definitely an asset for her teams.
Kamora Cannie has really stepped up for her team scoring on all levels. As the floor general for her team over the past month, she has been calling plays and directing her teammates in order to help her team win some tough games. Her ability to shoot from deep, create space for her midrange, and finish at the rim is certainly fun to watch. She’s a tenacious defender, too, grabbing steals picking the pocket of her opponents.
