Josie is a tenacious competitor with skill and toughness. She can shoot the ball at a high-level and is very effective attacking the basket. Josie will attack the basket every time if you leave the gaps open, she is ready to drive and is very physical. One of Josie’s super powers is her motor, and her aggressive mindset. Defensively she works hard, moves her feet and plays with active hands. She loves to get to the basket, but she has a mid-range and will find the open spot to shoot. She is a big guard that can also match-up with multiple positions and stretches the floor offensively.
Highlights
Ava is a skilled shooting guard that plays smart and values the basketball. She is a cerebral type of player that see’s plays before they happen. She is a willing passer that will run the offense and is a team player. She has the skills to be a point guard and can control the pace of a game. She is a gym rat that works on her game, and is coming into her own as a player that produces consistently on the court. She may have mastered the mid-range jumper and is very good behind the 3-point line. It will be interesting to see Ava’s development over the course of the season because she is on a really good production pace.
Highlights
Audrey is a skilled forward with guard potential. She has a good frame and knows how to use her body inside the paint and outside on the perimeter. She is a gym rat and can shoot lights out. She will step up and make the big shots when her team needs it. She has a high basketball IQ and plays hard and brings a lot of effort on the defensive end. She is a willing passer that puts her teammates in positions where they can succeed. She is an impact player and this year I expect her to take a big leadership role at Lincoln to help her team succeed.
Reagan is a skilled guard with twitchy athleticism. She is explosive and has a motor that makes her very exciting to watch. She is a physical player that isn’t afraid to bang with guards and even forwards. She can shoot the ball at a high level and continues to develop her shot. She handles the ball really well and is creative off the dribble to create space for a shot or control the pace of the game. She uses her athleticism to get in the paint to score or draw two and dish to open teammates. On the court she has a positive attitude and exudes confidence. She is a competitor and plays to win.
Highlights
Tierra is a lightning quick guard that plays with loads of energy on both ends of the floor. Her first-step is unmatched and the way she explodes past defenders is a sight to see. In the open floor you can forget about it because you aren’t catching her, its an easy two points. She looks to shoots the mid-range shot and attack the open gap. Defensively she is active, works hard and makes things difficult for the other team. She pushes the break well and finds the open teammate. She can shoot and make the open jumper from 3-point land, and is a coachable player that will continue to get better.
Nick-named the silent assassin by her coach, Aska is quiet but produces for her team in so many ways. Being apart of the 2025 class in Oklahoma she is a player that could easily be over shadowed with the talent but she is a player that coaches need to pay attention to. She is committed on the defensive end and can light it up offensively. Effort is the name of the game and Brooklyn fits the mold. She has good lateral quickness and Smooth looking shot and savvy ball-handling. She is a player I will keep my eye on and look forward to her production on the court this year.
