Amanda Pulley
Amanda Pulley waited for the lanes to open up and took advantage. She had a nice floater in the paint. Her hands were involved on defense grabbing steals and getting inside to grab rebounds, too, making sure her opponents didn’t have second chances. She locked up the ball after hustling back in transition. She had a nice block hustling back in transition as well.
Paris Webster Paris Webster 5’5″ | CG Athens Drive | 2023 NC was the main ball handler with her counterpart Makenzie Kelly Makenzie Kelly 5’6″ | PG Athens Drive | 2025 State NC out for this game. She was patient waiting to show off her moves to the basket waiting for the defense to expose the weak areas. She grabbed steals pushing them up the court for solo fast breaks. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates cutting to the basket for their own points. She hustles back on defense making sure to get the rebound off of a missed lay up in transition by her opponent. She immediately found her teammate with a long pass up the court for two points.

D’Miyah McGuire D’Miyah McGuire 6'0" | SF Knightdale | 2023 NC
D’Miyah McGuire D’Miyah McGuire 6’0″ | SF Knightdale | 2023 NC was handling the ball all over the court driving hard to the middle of the paint and putting up her shot. She opened up the court for her teammates, too, finding them flashing to the basket. Her length was an asset on defense knocking the ball away. She was persistent in getting some points going after the ball coming off the glass on both ends. She had some nice blocked shots in the paint.

Olivia Young
Olivia Young had a tough drive to the hoop showing off a bank shot against an aggressive defense. She jumped into passing lanes pushing the ball up the court, and she handled herself inside scoring through contact. She is sneaky getting behind her defender and scoring from the block with ease.
Rhian Lawrence Rhian Lawrence 5’7″ | PG Cardinal Gibbons | 2023 State NC showed off her shot from deep sliding into the opening in transition to put up her shot quickly. She had a nice in and out move running full speed taking it all the way to the hoop on a fast break. She was versatile handling her own on the block against strong post players on defense. She used fakes to create separation and put up her jump shot.
Corrie McLaughlin Corrie McLaughlin 6’1″ | SF Millbrook | 2023 State NC got up high to grab rebounds, and she knew how to make her move off of offensive rebounds to put the ball back up. She used power dribbles to move her defender where she wanted them to go. She made a smart hustle play knocking the ball off her opponent to gain possession.

Keashiana Murphy
Keashiana Murphy took the ball all the way up the court herself scoring in transition. She sees the floor so well finding her open teammates underneath the basket no matter where she is on the court. She showed off her own range knocking it down from deep.
Deana Prasad
Deana Prasad
Deana Prasad was handling the ball well up the court running plays. She did a nice job shifting to the shooting guard position making backdoor cuts for her points showing a nice finish at the rim. She did a nice job crashing boards for some rebounds, too. She held her own guarding a post on the block staying in front making it difficult for any entry passes to come her way. She had high energy even from the bench late in a game cheering on her teammates.

Kirstin Smalls
Kirstin Smalls was always making great cuts to the basket being ready for the pass and points. She rebounded well on the defensive side of the ball making sure her opponents didn’t have a second chance. She did a nice job cutting from block to block waiting for the right time to catch a pass and put the ball through the hoop.

Nyomi Taybron was smart with the ball slowing the tempo down when her team needed to and pushing the ball up the court when she saw an advantage. She did a nice job grabbing steals and taking it all the way herself for some points in transition.
