Corrie McLaughlin Corrie McLaughlin 6'1" | SF Millbrook | 2023 State NC has the quickness of a guard partnered with post moves like a drop step on the block.  Put these together, and she can lose her defender with ease putting on the moves even in transition.  Her ability to track the ball on defense leads to deflections and blocked shots creating turnovers for her team.  She doesn’t shy away from contact making some nice adjustments on her way to the rim.

Corrie McLaughlin was dominant in the paint using post moves and her length to score, and she didn’t back down from contact embracing it for some trips to the free throw line.  She followed shots to grab rebounds.  She posted up well on the block using up and under moves and spinning to score points even showing off a nice reverse with her back to the basket.  Her IQ was on display doing a nice job attacking her defender knowing she was in foul trouble.  She did a nice job finding her teammates cutting to the basket from the free throw line.  In their last game, she had back to back blocks in one defensive possession.  The second turned into a steal which she was able to catch as the trailer and knock down a three pointer.  She’s quick on defense closing out on opponents as they get the ball.

  Corrie McLaughlin Corrie McLaughlin 6'1" | SF Millbrook | 2023 State NC got up high to grab rebounds, and she knew how to make her move off of offensive rebounds to put the ball back up.  She used power dribbles to move her defender where she wanted them to go.  She made a smart hustle play knocking the ball off her opponent to gain possession.

Corrie McLaughlin Corrie McLaughlin 6'1" | SF Millbrook | 2023 State NC has been seeing several offers come her way this year from schools like Winthrop, Marshall, and Appalachian State.  Her footwork is great in the post using spin moves to get around her opponents on her way to two points.  She handles the ball well, too, making her a threat all over the court where she can drive to the basket herself creating separation on her way.  Her shot from deep is there, and she can certainly crash the boards to get rebounds.
