Week Two Roundup: Top Shooters/Scorers

In these games, we found a multitude of shooters who got the job done with tremendous varying skill and style. [player_tooltip player_id='832605' first='Sara' last='Mangan'] and Frances Reuland are two up and coming freshmen for Southridge and Lincoln. [player_tooltip player_id='502343' first='Abrianna' last='Lawrence'] is a steadfast guard who plays with good patience and pace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158538' first='Sofia' last='Bell'] 2023 6'0" SG Jesuit HS - the Oregon Duck signee made her Crusader debut worth the wait, as she had 21 points and 7 rebounds in her first game in almost a year. She plays the game with immense patience as well as intuition and is constantly putting pressure on the defense. Three-level scorer who makes the game look so tremendous easy with her dribbling skills and ability to get to various spots on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='211119' first='Avery' last='Edwards'] 2023 5'9" SG Jesuit HS - the senior is part of an eclectic group of talent for the Crusaders who look to contend for the State Title. She had a downpour of six three-pointers for Jesuit as she contributed a game high 22 points to go with 3 rebounds. Guard with a quick release who is a dangerous addition for the Crusaders, a team with top-heavy talent - particularly at the guard position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='832605' first='Sara' last='Mangan'] 2026 5'6" SG Southridge HS - although this is her first season of high school basketball, Mangan is no rookie to the game of shooting. She sank a game high 18 points for the Skyhawks, including four triples from the perimeter. Confident player who looks to continue to develop her overall offensive game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Frances Reuland 2026 5'8" SG Lincoln HS - talented soccer player for the Portland Thorns Academy who is also a potent shooter for the Cardinals. Fearless shooter who sank three from deep to contribute 14 points and 5 rebounds as a determined offensive player with the capability to get into the paint as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='502343' first='Abrianna' last='Lawrence'] 2025 5'9" Jefferson HS - Lawrence is a part of a rugged and tough young Jefferson squad that has immense talent and heart.
