I wanted to see where TABC had Mansfield Timberview listed, I use them as a guide because like rankings, mine included, all are someone else’s opinion. I knew their game would get out of hand early but one more time, I’m a REAL evaluator and I break certain things down other than looking at a scoresheet
Mansfield Timberview
Kamryn Wilson Kamryn Wilson 5'9" | CG Mansfield Timberview | 2024 State TX -5’8 G/F [2024]
Wilson is an explosive guard, she showed me that and more as I caught her on the PGH Circuit last season with her club team but her ability to score multiple ways had me add her to the Top 100, she’ll be making another jump on the update. Her jumper in the set, as well as the “stop and pop” in transition, is hard to handle because she handles the ball under pressure and uses her athleticism well. She scores off the dribble, has good court vision as well as on the ball pressure
Brooklyn Terry Brooklyn Terry 5'11" | SG Mansfield Tiberview | 2025 State TX -5’11 F [2025]
Terry is “long and athletic” that will always be the base she not only did a good job defensively, but she also rebounded, on both ends. She plays the passing lane and can handle the ball afterward, but she also scored off the dribble
Chrishawn Coleman-5’9 G/F [2024]
Coleman is athletic and did a good job of creating her shot for the jumper, as well as attacking the basket. Her body control and ability to not only finish after contact but create contact stood out, and so did her rebounding and scoring on putbacks. Her on-the-ball defense helped created turnovers and after watching her shooting exhibition in the Invitational Championship game, she will be added to the next update
Emilee Jones-5’10 F/P [2024]
Jones was MVP in the Invitational, I saw her creating havoc inside the paint on both ends yet her “hands and footwork” along with her frame JUST DID IT for me almost immediately in last night’s game. I also enjoyed her rebounding and (or) playing the passing lane and then handling the ball in the open court, sometimes going coast to coast to finish or dish. She caught some errant passes and scored after contact but her defense as well as running the floor on both ends will have her added to the next update
Zoi McClellan-6’1 P [2024]
McClellan will be a definite X-Factor down the stretch because of her size and interior presence. She moves well on defense, which will be huge, but she also rebounds on both ends and showed she could finish around the basket. Nice hands and footwork played a part yet her going after the ball off the rim was just as nice
Cleburne
Alexis Staton-5’5 G [2024]
Staton immediately showed me she could defend, it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against, and her pull-up jumper and ballhandling under pressure stood out, so did her court vision
Lyric Caldwell-5’7 PG [2026]
Caldwell’s upside is intriguing and her poise against a team of this caliber spoke volumes for me, can you hear me now? She did a good job of of attacking the basket, she also saw the floor as well as handled the ball under pressure
