Carter McCoy
When the team needs points and boards, McCoy steps up and provides! She is a bucket all game long, and with her length, she protects the paint well! Carter is aggressive, plays physical all 4 quarters, knows her role, and does it well! Strong moves on the block, and flat out goes to work on rebounding! I like her game a lot!
Lauren Grawe
Lauren Grawe
Lauren shows patience in the team’s half court offense. She lets the game come to her, and when she’s open, she capitalizes! Grawe moves well without the ball, with backdoor cuts, and makes shots with contact. Cannot leave her open from outside, because she can shoot from 3- point land as well!
Lauren, who can play both the guard/ forward position, has such a strong all-around game! I love how she finds her teammates, with spot on passes, resulting in buckets! She brings energy to the team, and does a solid job staying between her player and the basket. Can drain the 3’s, and consistent from the charity stripe.
Highlights
Kara is a tough forward, who has no problem bringing the ball up the court after tearing down rebounds! I was very impressed with her footwork and reliable hands- great spin moves, drop step on the block, and uses her power to take care of business in the paint. Plays a big role for Walsh Jesuit, and has a high ceiling- strong baller!
Megan Taraba
Megan Taraba
This young lady right here is one of the most impressive players I’ve watched all season. She is an absolute beast on defense, and ferocious when rebounding! Megan plays like she’s 6’3, in how she dominates the inside. While watching her play, I often thought, “There’s no way I’m getting in her path if I’m an opposing player!” Uses the glass so well, outstanding footwork, and is someone who needs to play at the college level!
