Chosen 1 Showcase – 2023s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Chosen 1 Showcase</strong> was this past Saturday and featured some of the top girls in California showcasing their skills on the floor at the <strong>Galen Center,</strong> the arena at <strong>USC</strong>. Here is how it went down in these games and who we thought put on a show for us to watch. We are featuring the 2023s in this article, please enjoy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>2023</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='104205' first='Caia' last='Elisaldez']</strong> - Caia is the floor general that all coaches love to have, she is a great team leader and she is one that will put the team on her shoulders and ride it out. She can score the ball from all three levels and is a tenacious defender for her team. She is really good at getting to the rim and finishing thru contact, we love that she is able to do that, she plays hard all the time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id='54106' first='Judea' last='Watkins']</strong> - &nbsp;Everyone know JuJu and they are gonna tell you the same thing, she is the consensus #1 player in the State and should be as well in the city of Los Angeles county. She can do it all and has demonstrated it on several occasions with anyone she plays against. She can score from all three levels and is always a threat to score the ball, one thing she has worked on is her passing ability, she throws some dimes to you, you better be ready to catch it or get hit in the face. She is a player for sure, we all know that…<br><br><strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id='563630' first='Crystal' last='Wang']</strong> - Wang has good size and is able to play multiple positions. She can be a big wing or she stretch the floor a bit playing the five. She moves very well without the ball getting open, but she can make plays with the ball in her hands and shoot a bit off the dribble. She's never stationary, she's constantly zipping around the court. She does a good job on the glass with her size.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id='54100' first='Breya' last='Cunningham']</strong> - Breya works hard and is a well known hard worker on the floor, she will beat you up inside the paint, she will block your shot, she will score over you in the post. She is a superior rebounder and can secure the ball and get it to the guard and get into the lane and finish off the catch to the rim.
