Northwest Indians came from behind and fought to the end to come out with the victory by defeating state they played hard and never gave up that is what you wanna see in your team Ashley Cudnik and Ashlyn Stark paced the team with 13 points apiece as Lily Bottomley Lily Bottomley 6'2" | C Northwest | 2023 State OH contained the glass with 10 rebounds
Waynedale came out to play it was a hard fought 1 point win but with Addesa Miller Addesa Miller 5'7" | CG Waynedale | 2024 OH on the court leading the way with 17 points and 4 three pointers she has unlimited range and can score the ball variety of ways, Alyssa Geiser Alyssa Geiser 5'7" | CG Waynedale | 2024 State OH is another one who can shoot the ball and get the job done she also had 11 points very solid player for their respective team
Portsmouth very talented team with Sienna Allen Sienna Allen 5'11" | CG Portsmouth | 2026 State OH getting the looks on the floor that she wanted solid all around game with consistent shooting lead the game in scoring with 19 points she will have a bright future if she keeps playing the way she play’s, i’m sure that you will hear more about her as the season progress
Tri-Valley has a solid group of girls led by Ashland Commit Lexi Howe Lexi Howe 5'9" | CG Dresden Tri Valley | 2023 State OH she is a scorer who does it all, she can shoot the three ball, get to the basket, and rarely what you don’t see anymore she has mid-range shot. She should be able to finish her senior year strong led all scorers with 26 points
Archbishop Hoban came from behind to get the 1 point win, they never gave up after they started out the gates slow, being able to hit multiple layups, and connecting on free-throws make their way back and the defense of Mackenzie Edingburgh Mackenzie Edingburgh 5'8" | CG Akron Hoban | 2024 OH with 4 steals and to be able to grab 6 rebounds to be able to put the pressure on the defender and Rylee Bennett Rylee Bennett 6'1" | SF Akron Hoban | 2023 State OH able to score underneath and the mvp Emma Rasmussen Emma Rasmussen 5'5" Archbishop Hoban | 2023 OH with 14 points able to score on fast-breaks and getting the job done they wasn’t going to be denied this win.
Magnificat was able to maintain the win they payed hard on both ends of the floor and was the bench gave them a spark they needed but behind Katie Maryo shooting 50 percent from the floor and the three ball helped them secure the win with her 14 point game she had a solid performance
