Keira Hunt
Keira Hunt
A dependable Combo Guard who can score at all levels with her skill set, Hunt gave her team an early lead with a pair of first quarter threes and a strong take to the basket. Keira is a confident athlete who can handle the ball well under pressure and knows how to find openings on the court so her teammates can find her for open shots.
Newson-Cole constantly proved to be the best player on the court with her dynamic playmaking abilities in a big win over Loyola. She is difficult to defend with her shiftiness and ball-handling skills and gets into the lane with ease where she can score in various ways. Azyah showcased a smooth jump shot from deep and the mid-range and impacted the game on the defensive end with tough on-ball defense against opposing ball-handlers.
An athletic Shooting Guard who serves as an efficient ‘Three and D’ player, Bruno impressed with her shot making and high IQ. She has great confidence in her shooting from beyond the three-point line and showed great activity with her cuts through the lane and scoring at the basket. Morgan effects the game on the defensive end with her versatility and length to guard multiple positions successfully.
Highlights
Langston is a well-rounded Guard who provides outstanding versatility with her ability to play and defend multiple positions effectively. She uses her strength and toughness to battle against bigger opponents in the lane and uses her athleticism on the perimeter to take on opposing ball-handlers. Kelsey shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line but is at her best when attacking off the bounce and making plays in the lane.
Highlights
A do-it-all Point Guard who runs the show at both ends of the court, Engels is everything a coach wants in a lead Guard. She is a reliable ball-handler who always plays at a controlled pace and sets the tone with her effort and decision making. Paige can score at every level just as efficiently as she can set her teammates up for easy buckets, and she stays locked in on the defensive end with tough defense against opposing ball-handlers and creating turnovers.
Barnes is a talented athlete who can play any of the Guard positions with her skill set and always displays a high level of confidence in her abilities. Natasha is a knock-down shooter from beyond the three-point line and she uses her strength to take defenders off the dribble and finish through contact at the basket.
Samantha Trimberger
Samantha Trimberger
An athletic Forward who bothers opponents in the lane with her length and athleticism, Trimberger was excellent in Benet’s battle against Noblesville (IN). Samantha’s mobility and ball skills help create mismatches on the low block, where she can maneuver around defenders for ample scoring and rebound opportunities.
