Giselle Janowski Giselle Janowski 5'9" | SG Pewaukee | 2026 State WI
The freshman is already one of the most dynamic two-way guards in the state. The Pirate can score 30 points on one end of the floor ad blanket some of the best players in Wisconsin on the other end. Janowski can be a game wrecker for anyone they play, but she understands when it’s not her night and get her teammates involved. I love her understanding of the game, and that’ll help Pewaukee make a run at the Resch Center again this season.
Ellie Demet Ellie Demet 5'8" | SG Watertown | 2024 State WI
The Gosling is one of the best one-on-one offensive players in the state. She is a determined kid who makes some of the most challenging shots in basketball look easy. Against Germantown this season, Demet made some of the more challenging jumpers all event long and kept her Watertown team in the game, even though they were missing significant pieces against one of the most talented teams in the state.
Jaelyn Derlein Jaelyn Derlein 5'7" | CG DeForest | 2023 State WI
After coming off a knee injury, the Parkside commit has had flashes of being herself again this season. The lefty has a beautiful jump shot, and she’s been making her perimeter jumpers recently. The DeForest wings game utilizes her athleticism and ability to attack the basket effectively when her defender closes out. Now that Derlein’s getting into a rhythm and making shots, she can figure out where she is when she attacks the basket. She may not ever be herself at DeForest, but she’s showing signs of recovery and helping her team win games, and in a sectional up for grabs, that might be all her team needs. Once her burst is fully back, watch out.
Savannah James Savannah James 5'7" | CG Grafton | 2024 State WI
The Grafton forward can get into a rhythm and help the Black Hawks compete with or beat almost any team in the state. James’ ability to score in bunches is unique, and if she makes some shots early, her confidence will take over, and the Black Hawks could win in a blowout. Every team with big aspirations needs a kid who can score against any defense they see, and James is just that for her team. Grafton could surprise a team or two in the postseason.
