Brady Peterson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Janowski is potentially one of the most competitive players you’ll find in this class. The Pewaukee native has always been an elite defensive prospect, and even after returning from a knee injury, she still has that ability in her game. Nobody demands as much out of themselves as she does, which will allow her to continue excelling on the floor. The Pirate has also been a member of some of the best teams in the Midwest in her time at Pewaukee, playing in two Division 2 State Championship Games, including a State Championship in 2024. Janowski will continue her playing career in the Big Ten at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The Pewaukee guard/wing has played in some of the best games in high school basketball in her group’s clashes with Notre Dame in the past three seasons. Janowski has played in two state title games and won a state title with the Pirates in the 2023-2024 season. She has always been an elite defensive talent, and before a knee injury cut her season short, one could argue she was the most productive player in the state this season on both ends of the floor. Janowski will continue her playing career in the Big Ten at the University of Wisconsin.

The Pirate also had her best offensive year as a junior before it ended abruptly. I, and everyone else in the girl’s basketball community in Wisconsin, wish her a quick, smooth, and stress-free recovery, and we can’t wait to see her return to the court. Janowski will join
